6:54 is such a poignant moment. Kobe going up to MJ for a little advice is like a young Jedi Knight asking Yoda how to master the force. "May the force be with you"...said his airness.

lol bron called kobe crying in 2011.......and kobe told him you want to become a champion call hakeem............but your ass has to make 500 ft before he gets there......and boom bron lives in the left elbow/low post and runs strong to weak side iso/pic n roll......The same way Kobe had MJ and Hakeem Bron had Kobe and hakeem. Kobe called and learned how to master the post after his first finals bc he knew he needed more if he were to face stronger opposition. Eventually bron added a 3 to his game too, to save his legs from playing so downhill. But brons FT somehow gets worse.....and FT means you are GOAT qualified, or being undefeated in finals etc.........you cant be a HACK at a facet of the game and be an all rounder. Bron is magic 2.0 at best im willing to grant him. Which isnt saying little..............he should garner such notions.

Stats, Circumstances, Awards, all vary.... Skill for Skill they are nearly equal. 5 rings or 6? 81 or 69. you have to define what separates them in terms of skill. They both have enough accolades to qualify as the greatest. There skills are so similar that there is almost no differences. Jordan at his peak is more athletic, Kobe at his peak is a more lethal jump shooter. You can go back and forth. Kobe can give you 12 threes, Jordan can dunk from the foul line. Respect.

Im a basketball fan. I love MJ, but I also appreciate Kobe's greatness. It amazes me how people get so threatened at just the thought that Kobe Bryant may be a superior offensive player to MJ. Basketball like every other sports, evolves. Players emulate other players and get better. Get over it. Stats don't tell the whole story. Players, past and present, played with different rules, different teams, in different eras. Everyone is to busy pretending that their "superman argument" is absolute truth, that they are missing out on greatness. The only ABSOLUTE TRUE fact in regards to Kobe and MJ is that both players dominated their respective generations. Compare both, but respect both. Peace

@blackadam06 10 лет назад
Regnova Scott MJ vs kobe in their 1st 140 games with 29 or more FGAs: MJ: 5,944 total pts (42ppg avg) -- 52.3 FG% on 32.3 FGAs KB: 5,304 total pts (35ppg avg) -- 43.4 FG% on 32.4 FGAs As you can see, MJ TOPPED kobe's BEST offensive efforts with 17 LESS total shots (in terms of misses), 290 MORE MADE FGs, and a 7ppg advantage! FACT #1: kobe's BEST playoff run is 32ppg 5apg 5rpg on 43.2 FG%. MJ TOPPED that 8x. FACT #2: he's also topped (and tied) kobe's BEST offensive season 2x each. Yet we have fools like yourself who childishly keep trying to imply that he's somehow MJ's superior when it comes to scoring..SMH He can't even consistently lead in own era in scoring (under easier rules that favors perimeter scorers today), but offensively he's supposed to be MJ's superior?!! Just how f*ckin' DUMB are you Y2K fanboys?!! No kid, the intelligent and informed fans here on YT aren't "threatened" by anything. We're just ANNOYED at the persistent STUPIDITY and willful ignorance from silly a**, uninformed, fanboys, who OBVIOUSLY don't know a damn thing about the game.

I dont waste time doing sports debates with fans who don't truly understand the sport. blackadam06 if you're comparing stats and rings then MJ isn't the best Bill Russell Wilt Chamberlin and Oscar Robinson are considering all of them averaged double doubles and Oscar Robinson averaging a triple double for a season and Wilt Chamberlin being the best scorer in NBA history and Bill Russell being the best player in NBA history in the playoffs so MJ doesn't compare to these guys

Great moment in basketball, however Kobe got 12 of that 33 pts in the 4th quarter while Jordan was on the bench because the game had become a blowout, but with that said Kobe not LeBron was MJ's true successor.
@MultiKingdarius
@MultiKingdarius 10 лет назад
The thing about Kobe and Jordan is that these two dudes ACTUALLY PLAYED against each other. LeBron soft ass never was lucky enough to play against Jordan, whether he was in the league or not, he never got the blessing of playing against Mike. Kobe SCORED on Jordan before...can't say the same about LeBron or Kevin Durant so stop it with all the bullshit comparisons, Kobe is the closest to him hands down, even Jordan would tell you that. So good to actually have some substance when you talk Kobe and Jordan, these other young ass dudes don't know shit about goin up against Jordan.
@blackadam06
@blackadam06 10 лет назад
MultiKingdarius "Kobe is the closest to him hands down" Yeah...in terms of "style of play", which he's CLEARLY mimicked the older (2nd 3-peat) MJ. But the consistent on-court substance produced from this mimicking ISN'T ANYWHERE CLOSE to his airness. And that's a FACT that can EASILY be VERIFIED! And you've still YET to provide any EVIDENCE that stems from his on-court play, to PROVE that he's this so called "better scorer", like you previously tried to claim. So once again: where's the SEASONAL EVIDENCE to prove your wack a** claim? "even Jordan would tell you that" When MJ said that kobe was "worthy" of being compared to him, he was talkin' about in terms of "work ethic". Not as a "player"! I wish you silly a** kobetards would actually go watch the damn interview, and STOP takin' the man's comments outta context, just to make ya boy look better in the discussion...SMH
@blackadam06
@blackadam06 10 лет назад
***** "I played basketball" So did I.... "At the end of the day a true hooper could give to fucks about a stat sheet" Not while in action. But for the science of player comparisons, they're VERY IMPORTANT. You cannot separate a player's play/performances from their stats because one is a reflection, and DIRECT RESULT of their consistently good/bad performance(s). And these performances are what's NEEDED to evaluate 1 guy in relation to the next. That's how the league determines who's MVP, it's scoring/rebounding/steals/blocks, etc. champ(s). Fanboys are CONSTANTLY trying to frame these kinda' discussions with an anti-facts theme, because it'll allow them the luxury of just insisting that they're right, without having to actually supply any evidence to PROVE IT. " I [believe] that if Kobe and Jordan played each other one-on-one they would be [evenly matched]" Hahahahaha...SMH...thanks for proving my point. Believing is what one does when they DON'T KNOW something...
@blackadam06
@blackadam06 10 лет назад
***** "We're all entitled to our own opinion" No argument from me on that. But you're NOT entitled to try and state 'em as a matter of fact, when there's MOUNTAINS OF EVIDENCE that CLEARLY invalidates such claims. "even if that means classifying me as a " fan boy" I didn't specify you as one, I only mentioned them as the ones who OFTEN try to employ this tactic. "To be honest I really don't care when it comes down to it" If you're you're a fan of the game and its history, you're lying. Otherwise you wouldn't have bothered posting on here to begin with. "I was just trying to figure out why people use so much hostility in their comments against Kobe" The hostility if you will, isn't directed at him. It's directed at his dumb a** fanboys. And if you'd actually bothered to take a look at their OFTEN ridiculous and absurd comments about him, as it relates to the legends of the sport and its history, you'd QUICKLY UNDERSTAND why they're the most HATED group of so called fans in the online basketball community. You want an answer? It's simple: kobetards constantly disrespect the legends and the history of the sport with their willful ignorance and blatant juvenile stupidity. That's where the hostility comes in from longtime students/fans of the sport. MultiKingdarius And I know your ignorant a** aint on here still trying to talk sh*t, as much as you've been served up on this topic. B*tch please... Dumb muthaf*ckas like yourself are EXACTLY who I'm talkin' about..

I cant say that. These guys are both on different planets. MJ is better no doubt but I was talking about how identical their gameplays are because Kobe took some of Jordans moves. He does that so that he can get better. Kobe chases Jordan in every aspect in basketball. I am just saying that people just forget how good Kobe is sometimes. Personally, I think he is still the greatest in the game. Stats don't prove anything. Its the heart of the champion that matters.

Lol nobody should confuse Lebron and Kobes shooting ability. That's not why Lebron has a higher field goal or a 3 percentage. It's because Miami has 4 excellent 3 point shooters (Ray Allen, R Lewis, Battier, Chalmers) spreading the floor helping each other and also Lebron as well.

A legend passes down knowledge and teaches other to be better then they are. Like a father and son. I succeed if my son is better than me. The NBA is better if players evolve. IF no one can evolve beyond Jordan then Jordan has failed. IF he can't pay it forward he doesnt deserve the title of legend. Such will be the same for Kobe and Lebron. IF you fail to use your skill and wisdom to make the new generations better you failed and cant be considered a legend. Kobe was 19 able to play with Jordan in a way no one else really could. Kobe has a responsibility to pass it down and not let that greatness imparted on him die off. Every generation should get just a little better. Skill wise there is nothing Jordan could do that Kobe couldnt. Kobe needs to teach that to someone else.

It's obvious at this point in their careers Jordan was a lot better than Kobe but at this point Kobe was a kid and Jordan was in his prime so just to do what he did in a game that Jordan played in as well is legendary and this was one of the points in Kobes career that everybody knew greatness was in his future. It's not fair to judge a teenager with a player in his prime. Lets remember when Jordan was 40 and Kobe was in his athletic prime, Kobe got the best of him every time.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@Pawgfan1977 Well if your just gonna say who was mainly guarding a guy, and just try and count the points that a single player gets scored on him. Nobody has ever gave up 40 points. Remember when Areneas scored 60 on the Lakers I watch the game and he only hit 3 shots over Kobe adding up to 8 points but the game is considered 60 points on KOBE not the point guard who he was lighting up for most of those. It's not fair but that's how the game is viewed.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 50+ games aren't everything. If he's so bad and only beat up on the bad teams, why do you rank him as top 10? Fact is Kobe has dominated every western conference finals he's ever played in, that's not the finals but for the team to be in the WCF they must be pretty good. And Kobe's averages in the finals are damn good other than his % but Kobe isn't a high % guy for his career so that's normal for him. His points assist rebounds and steals are good though.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 A Lose is a lose though. That's another thing about Kobe, in games that the Lakers are getting beat and enter desperation time Kobe shots a lot of 3s making it a great performance when they fall but killing his % when they don't ultimately making the stats show that he played worse than he actually did throughout the course of the game. But He's still the best player since MJ, so as bad as he may play, the other players must be even worse.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Kobe didn't play his game against the Cs I believe he was trying to prove some sort of a macho point and ruined his own stats, when he stuck with the jumper he was doing just fine. OKC he was just coming back off of injury and had a couple games that he just looked old and washed up and a couple good games. But he did stop Westbrook and Rondo in those series when no one else on the team could, gotta give him credit there.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 The suns head coach(however you spell his name) said I thought that was Micheal out there and then when asked if he thought Kobe was better than MJ he answered I won't answer that question because I may need a job coaching the Bobcats one day. Kevin Durant said after the Lakers beat them that Kobe is the greatest. Doc Rivers, Paul Pierce, Mark Jackson, Van Gundy and many more said Kobe is in the discussion with MJ
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 That ain't so bad for a 2nd team teenager against the GOAT in his prime. 6 to 12. Kobe in his prime is an all around better player than he was when he was young. Like this past season he started the first 20+ games of the season shooting 50% a game, showcasing his maturity and patience. After he suffered the finger back and knee injures his % went back down though. I think Kobe blew a lot of his averages as a kid and is wrongfully judged based on his early seasons.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 So you think Kobe doesn't dominate the Spurs, the Kings in their hay day, the blazers when they actually had some talent, the Suns even though they suck defensively they are still not a bad team, the D Wade led Heat, the Mavs which is a bad defense but a top tier team. It's just not many good defensive teams to torch these days. Because he doesn't play his best against some of the worst teams in the league as well.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Kobe has had great performances in playoffs against top notch defensive teams. Maybe not number 1 but he killed the Spurs a few years, the Kings and the Blazers in his early career. Recently he's dominated the Jazz and the Rockets in the playoffs and all these teams are great defensively. I think the Celtics were in his head a bit this year. He tried to make a statement by plowing to the basket trying to show they were tough and didnt play his natural game. That pissed me off.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 But they are a lot of people who says Iverson, Wade, LeBron etc. are better than MJ and Kobe both. Fans get carried away in the heat of the moment a lot of times. Just as some MJ fans take his greatness a little bit too far at times. The world would be a better place of both Kobe fans and Jordan fans just watched and enjoyed great basketball. Not one Kobe hater in the world can tell me honestly that Kobe doesn't show his ass quite often on that ball court.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Why did Kobe get the ass kicking though? Why not just say how many he gave up to MJ which was probably only around 6 due to Kobe not really getting any minutes while the game was in question. And my point again though with stats being able to be manipulated because just reading out numbers shows that Kobe scored 33 against Jordans Bulls. It doesn't tell the story of Kobe only getting 6 on MJ just like most stats don't show the story behind the way the game was played.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 I don't think its fair to compare Kobe to Mj I think great players should just be appreciated for what they are. Kobe will finish his career with some things that MJ never did and he will fall short of things that MJ did, magic did, bird did and so on. I just don't get the hate that Kobe receives. Its not like he's comparing himself to MJ, he's just playing ball. And I only get into these debates when I feel like Kobe is being picked on for no good reason.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 You said MJ kicked his ass. And if Kobe is top 10 which he is, whats the sense on bashing the guy so much? Don't you know most of the people who stand up for Kobe only does it because Kobe gets knocked by haters and MJ fans every time he laces up shoes. Kobe scored 81 points haters said Jordan would score 100 on the raptors. Kobe won a championship people said Jordan didn't need a good big man. If people stopped doing that less people would feel the need to defend Kobe so much.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 MJ doesn't walk on water man. Kobes averages are messed up from his years as a bench player Kobes averages after shaq vs. MJ's as a Bull or almost identical MJ just had more points and higher %, giving him a slight edge over Kobe. If they were to play in their prime MJ wouldn't get the better of Kobe every time and Kobe wouldn't get the better of MJ every time. Players of their caliber are to great to be outplayed 100% of the time by anyone. MJ is just a human like everyone else.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 But what stats don't show is the situations on how it happened. I've seen Kobe shot near half court shots to win the game falling off balance. That shot won't fall for anyone at a high rate. Like you told someone else. Stats have to go into the equation but they don't tell the full story and can be very misleading at times. And with the right numbers an argument can be fought to make a player seem better or worst given your argument.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Who cares if he missed 2994 shots in a single game, its just one bad game. Kobe has missed more and made more game winners than anyone so while he gets him blame for the failure why can't he get his props for his success? Kobe is the 2nd most complete basketball player to ever play. Not judging by rings, stats, or accomplishments. Kobe is a poor man's MJ, so how does Bird Magic Wilt Kareem or Russell get ranked over him when he's a much more complete player than they are.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Your point about how many he scored over Jordan is rock solid but my point is how come you don't judge Kobe the same way. Kobe didn't give up all 36 of those points MJ scored, but you say MJ kicked his ass for 36. You're not judging them by the same criteria which is what most MJ fans do and its not fair. My whole reason for getting into this argument was not to prove Kobe is better than Jordan because he's not, it is to prove that Kobe is being judged a lot tougher than MJ is.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Kobe clearly does more on the court than MJ did. What MJ did he did do it a lot more efficient than Kobe did that's factual. But Kobe is a better shooter, ball handler and man defender. Jordan was a smarter shot taker leading him to higher %, stronger, better team defender, better rebounder. They both are creative passers but do very little of it because they have the scorers role. I give MJ the slight edge on Kobe, but it's not as drastic as MJ fans make it out to be.
@BettaWithToast

@utfanatic2000 LMAO you are so full of it dude. First you say MJ only gave up 6 points of the 21 points Kobe had prior to the 4th qtr. So how did he stop him? He must have not been guarding him right? because 21 through 3 is pretty good to say that anybody stopped him. And how come you just say that MJ scored all 36 on Kobe? Why don't you bunch up only the points Kobe gave up? And the reason Kobe was in late is because he was a 18 year old bench riding kid. He had to prove himself first.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Fact is MJ doesn't get judged as harshly as Kobe does. Everybody finds flaws in what Kobe does and say what MJ would have done. While MJ had shitty games and failures in the clutch as well, but people act like that didn't happen. No man is perfect not Kobe or MJ. They are the best two players to ever lace up the sneakers, why is it so bad for Kobe to be 2nd? I wish I could be the 2nd greatest at something thats nothing to poke fun at.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 What about when Kobe dropped 40+ on MJ in a single qtr? What about when Kobe was outclassing MJ in the allstar game and didn't get a single minute in the 4th enabling MJ to get the allstar game MVP? Educate yourself. My point in my last comment was that MJ didn't stop Kobe I don't care if he guarded him are not fact is he didn't stop him and Kobe was 18 years old while MJ was in his prime. Nobody ever counts how many Kobe actually gave up when guys go off on the Lakers.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Kobe dropped numbers on MJ every time they played...MJ dropped numbers on Kobe as well. Point being a great talent can't be stopped by a single defender. And how is JJ Redick Pietrus and Courtney Lee getting the credit? Who played him well? You can't even say you're just looking at the numbers. Kobe had them in foul trouble most of the series....that's not good D if you're riding the pine.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Ben Gordon has no D, the thing that numbers don't show is how many times he blasted pass them and missed shots and the rim, the times he missed shots over other players while they were on the floor, the times he shakes the defender out of his shoes and blows the wide open shot, stats doesn't show if the player was suffering an injury at the time. Kobe is a career 45% shooter so if he shoots 43% that's about normal. PS I've watched every Lakers game for the pass 8 years.

@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Phil indeed said so, he said he'll go with MJ if it was enough time to set something up and Kobe if it was a very last second shot. Kobe isn't overrated in the clutch, he has more game winning and tieing shots than any player who's ever played the game. Of course he missed a bunch, like the great MJ said "yea I've made 'x amount' of game winners but I missed even more, you can't be scared to fail in order to succeed" Kobe makes plays in the clutch on both sides of the ball.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Phil is on record saying that he asks kobe to do more on the court than he did with MJ like bring the ball up and set the offense and frequently guard point guards. he said the only thing mj has over kobe is the ability to get any shot he wants at any time and bigger hands. he said he'll take kobe over mj in a last second catch and shoot situation or if he needed a 3 because kobes better at making shots from any and all angles.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Kobe only scored 3 less points than MJ in 26 minutes of play and at that age his game was way less complete. And Kobes %suffers greatly from him trying to bail out his teammates who very often throw him low shot clock balls and dont make themselves available for passes when he is trapped in double teams and without dribble. When kobes shots come in the flow of offense and the team is moving fluidly he shoots a whole lot better. stats dont show that though

Back to the original argument instead of your babybak bullshit stats. Like I said before, Jordan the GOAT not Barkley, said Kobe was the only who has earned the right to be compared to him. He said that this in 2012 and in 2011 he said Kobe was better than LeBron. Maybe things will change but idk. Both players will go down in the top 10 players of all time.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@Bigturns33 That's my point, when MJ was at his best Kobe wasn't when Kobe was at his best MJ wasn't so these matchups aren't really valid. MJ got Kobe here and Kobe got MJ later in their careers. Both guys in their prime would be the best era ever unfortunately that's impossible, leaving us fans little to do but speculate.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Funny though because stats don't tell that story which is true. But you pull stats on Kobe's bad shooting games with no evidence on how the game was played and if he missed those shots at the rim or while those players your crediting for defense was sitting on the bench in foul trouble because they couldn't guard him.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Come on now Ben Goron? Eric Snow? Dwayne Wade? Never did a good job on Kobe Kirk Hinrich has made plays on Kobe yes but shut him down? NEVER. Tony Allen does do a nice job on Kobe but not because of him but because he has an entire Boston defense behind him geared to stop him more of a team deal. But why didnt MJ stop him?
@mastermike95
@mastermike95 11 лет назад
lmao Jordan said the only one that could be earned the right to be compared to him was Kobe. Not LeBum. LeBron will NEVER be as intense as Kobe and Jordan were. LeBron is amazing but he is nothing close to those two players. If anything he is like Magic who was very versatile.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 I've seen the "Iverson is the best" a bunch of times. And I don't understand why people can watch Kobe dominate and think to themselves that was ok but Jordan would have done it better. Jordan doesn't play anymore why can't his fans just let it go.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Ok so Kobe went 6-19 and 7-21 which is under 42% so he must have had games over 45% to make up for some of the bad games to bring it up to 43% correct. And I'm certian that MJ has some opponents that he shot well under his average against, so I really don't see the significance of it all.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 Buts its only 2% one shot could put it back up to average. Not enough to say someone shut him down. And when the Lakers played the bulls for the past few seasons Deng does most of the defending on Kobe not Kirk and definitely not no defense playing ass Gordon.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 So now your counting how many he scored over MJ? So how are you just pulling Kobe's totals for a game and giving all the credit to one defender when he took shots over multiple defenders? I'm not even saying Kobe is better than MJ I'm just saying that your points are pretty weak.
@mastermike95
@mastermike95 11 лет назад
BS. Theres been multiple incidents where Jordan has flat out said Kobe is better the LeBum and kobe is the only who can be compared to him. LeBron can go down as the greatest ever but his physical gifts can only take him so far. I doubt he will reach 30,000.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 O I thought you were saying that Kobe said he was better than MJ my mistake. Lately a lot of players and coaches has been saying that Kobe is the greatest or that Kobe is on that same level as Jordan, I guess that pisses you off right?
@mastermike95
@mastermike95 11 лет назад
Once he hits early 30s he wont be able to lift off and dunk as he does now. No way. You cant deny that. Kobe and Jordan extended there prime by becoming the best shooters in the game. LeBrons jump shot needs improvement.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 I never seen Kobe downplay MJ's greatness. Link me to the interviews if you can. Every time I've seen Kobe asked of Jordan he says something like MJ is the greatest don't even compare me to him.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 But how do you know how often MJ was guarding him. MJ may have only guarded Kobe 6 times and kobe scored 3 out of 6. This footage doesn't have any evidence of Jordan stopping him that's all speculation.
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 watch?v=jmmU_6e1v0Y thats a vid of Kobe busting up on Tony Allen and Paul Pierce before the Cs had any interior D. (my point is that one man can't stop a player on Kobes level, never has never will)
@BettaWithToast
@BettaWithToast 14 лет назад
@utfanatic2000 So if Kobes doing more on the court how is MJ considered to be better at them than Kobe, when Kobe is clearly doing things that MJ didn't have to do.

To be fair LeBron took his team all the way to the Finals with no go-to scorer or great big man, something Wade could not do after Shaq and Zo left. Wade couldn't get the Heat out of the first round after that and got shut down by Kirk Hinrich in a first-round sweep. For the 06 championship Wade had a much better roster to work with, better coaching staff, and just a better overall organization that knew what it was doing.

Where did you get the notion that I think fg% alone determines best ever? The last sentence I said was "3 point percentage isn't much of a factor." How does THAT warrant what you just wrote? Also, Kobe struggled against the 08 celtics (who used the 86 celtics defensive scheme that whole series btw.) If The 08 celtics can give Kobe so much trouble, imagine what the 86 celtics who played better team ball could do. More doubling and tripling, just as they did MJ.
