@parveza6303
@parveza6303 5 лет назад
@Sports Guru lol Pippen was a couple months away from turning 35 & unlike LeBron, Pippen was a shelf of himself at this stage. Pippen averaged 12.5 6 rebounds per and 5 assists per game that season. At this stage of his career Pippen was what Dwyane Wade was this past season for the Heat. Still a legend capable of having big games but again, clearly a shell of what he used to be. I'd hope a 22 year old Kobe who already had a few years in the league would be able to take it to a guy Pippen's age with the wear and tear of 6 rings and around a dozen deep playoff runs under his belt at that point. Taking anything away from Pippen because of what happened to him at this stage in his career is like calling out Wade for losing in 5 games to Ben Simmons and the Sixers last year

So many thoughts about this game. 1. I get chills every time I hear "Kobe to Shaq!" I was in middle school when I saw this game and I thought Kobe had put up a horrible shot but little did I know it was the perfect assist and one that would go down in history as one of the all time greatest assists. 2. Kobe was MVP in this game. He started the comeback when they were down 15. He seemed to be a part of every big play. He shot without fear and he was always near the ball. 3. I'll just stop at 3 by saying I fucking miss Kobe Bryant. It's been what 7 months and I still watch these videos and cry about him. I miss him so much. I regret never seeing him play live. ❤

The point is, Shaq and those Lakers at that time would've probably went further without Kobe, then Kobe without Shaq. Which was proven in those Finals. The Finals they loss to the Pistons, the gameplan was harrass Shaq and let Kobe get his shots and points because one man wouldn't beat the team. The focal point was always Shaq during those years. Doesn't take away from Kobe tho.

@@user-ve6jt2nw7l Yes and this was an OLD Sabonis imagine him in his younger days instead then we would have seen a player of Jokic caliber and better.

You destroyed one of my favorite teams in the early 2Ks, one being the Jailblazers. You will never be forgotten, Kobe Bryant. REST IN POWER!!!! Love you, Kobe!!!!!

I was 6 years old when this happened. I didn't get into Basketball until I was 10... I'll forever rewatch these old days of the Lakers. I envy all the old heads that got to witness this live

Horry was automatic, watching these guys all through college until they retire and get their hof call is awesome. Glen Rice and Ronny Harper were the 2 that made it work with their veteran leadership and great play. Kobe and Shaq were young in this 1

I'll never forget watching that game.That year I felt that the Lakers were unstoppable.When they entered the 4th quarter down huge I told my brother they'll come back and win the game.I took a nap because I was tired and it was a late night game because I was in New York on the east coast.When I woke up the Lakers regained the lead and I saw Wallace take that desperation 3 pointer but I had full confidence the Lakers would win and I was right.
