Barnes says something I’d never heard that was super inspiring. That Kobe had a load of God given talent, but that he paid it back to God everyday with his unwavering preparation.
fawbak. Barnes is the man. So dope to see him grow into what he’s become. To give anything less than your all...is to sacrifice the gift. “You asked for my hustle: I gave you my heart”-Kobe
Matt is a very smart and eloquent person, and I am happy he found a platform to show his God given talent - his and Stephen Jackson's podcast is a joy to watch and listen.
Loved KOBE ❤️ but here's the message 👇👇👇👇👇👇 You can never pay God, the only way is to have faith in him.. Scripture is clear that we are saved by *faith alone* and NOT by our works. Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast But be thankful to God for what you don't have or have🙏
It’s been a couple of days now, and I still can’t get over this. My brain just cannot process “Kobe Bryant is dead.” May Kobe And Gigi Rest In Peace 🙏🙏😞
MiNi FB Same man I wake up and just can’t believe it’s actually real. It hurts absolutely devastating. Mamba forever!! His legacy will live on forever.
When people talk about Kobe Bryant's game, most of the time they'll be talking about his scoring, about his mentality and about his dunks. But often, they're forgetting one of the most important aspects of his greatness. Kobe's defense! He was one of the best defending guards in NBA history. His lockdown D, a thing of beauty! He definitely deserves more credit for his defense. 9 First All Defensive Team selections. 😱😎
Nich Fx we’re all grieving for Kobe and his family but please don’t bring in the mj, Kobe argument it was the same when he was alive it should be the same now that he’s passed in a horrible tragedy
I agree. The thing about Kobe is that he had elite defense worthy of being on the 1st team all defense although , his offense was on an extremely higher level compared to the rest history of the NBA that we forget about his defense. His defense was was Tier 1 but his offense was Tier 0.
@@solobusiness4320 Maybe we dont deserve kobe.. All of his career we compare him to mj and lebron.. This is eye opener for the fans.. Just appreciate them until we can coz we dont know hat will happen next
Man I would have loved to see kobe bring detail footage on bill Russell and explain what it was like to see bill Russell play and breakdown Russell's defense. The basketball mind of kobe is just pure genius

Kobe we love you and your family so much, and I know I will see you again in heaven and then I can play basketball with you and your daughter again. Rest in peace and thanks for everything you have done over the years.
Man how cool mustve it been to drink beers and talk ball with kobe Bryant .. this man was truly my GOAT im heartbroken man you really helped me get through life SO many times 😔😔
Been paying attention to some of the narrative lately as well. Media creates and perpetuates a lot of drama in sports. They should be focused on the game rather than turning it into a constant gossip column. Rachel is definitely guilty of this and Kobe is right for trying to change how the media handles things. They should be focused on the game more than anything.
he was hated or a target for attack in any kind of discussion by several media outlets yet he acts as THE BETTER MAN to help the media teach the next generation of aspiring basketball players. yet ppl everywhere keeps on insulting each and every achievement he accomplished.
Kobe wanted people to talk about DETAILS of basketball. Hence the name of his show. I guarantee if so-called "sports analysts" talked about the actual game like screens, jump shot mechanics, footwork etc, he'd have joined ESPN as an analyst himself instead of making his own show Detail
Yes. And the NBA would be more popular if media focused on and created excitement in the details and mechanics of the sport of basketball instead of all the drama. I think more people would watch more of the basketball games, as opposed to focusing on just the playoffs.
big facts. we fans are tired of "mid season free agency drama" we want to actually talk abt basketball and watch the tape from guys like giannis to lavine
The media is textbook "smile in your face talk behind your back" steadily bringing up the Colorado incident when it doesn't have anything to do with the tradegy. To you people in ESPN that are advising the media pundits to bring this up I say a huuuuuge EFF U!
ChachinAKAChino no I think they’re getting ahead of and including It tastefully. People and the media have a tendency to canonize famous people who die to a extreme degree. They acknowledging his mistake and growth as a person only is a testimony to the greatness of his story
Bill Russell literally had the Stoic Leadership of Tim Duncan, The Athleticism & Intensity of Kevin Garnett, & The Defensive/Rebounding ability of Dennis Rodman. Kobe understood this. The 30 minute my shorts/documentaries are VERY intriguing. A very Cultured and always Curious individual.
Like Zach said, he was on his way to changing nba media through platforms like Detail. I learned more basketball through watching Detail than other shows that I would watch for years. Detail and Inside the NBA were shows that you would want to watch if you wanted to learn basketball.
Media intentionally left him out of the goat convo which is unfathomable to anyone who knows basketball. Some how a more bankable yet less considerably less skilled option fit the bill
And possible the most important:stat/record in the NBA belongs to him but is never mentioned.. most career game winning shots.. . Long Live The G.O.A T #24 Kobe Bryant
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IM COMMENTING IN SOCIAL MEDIA SINCE KOBE DIED........I STILL FEEL SICK ...GOODBYE MY HERO...YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED....yOURE WITH THE CREATOR NOW...SEE YOU SOON BRO.......
No need for KB to speak during the NBA HOF! The entire world will do it for him. HOF will never be enough having life well lived On/Off the court. Rest in Paradise KB and GG and the people involved 💜💛
It has been 3 days since the tragec accident happened to Kobe and yet I can't still believe it happened. Rest in peace The legend Kobe the black mamba and to mambacita Gigi.
Lol why is it that they have to mention Colorado every time... this to me essentially confirms why he didn’t get some mvps he was owed because even in DEATH this is how they are, so just imagine how they felt most of the time when he was alive. Shits sad..
People post these post that he had the most career misses and all that, but never look at that he also averaged 44% his whole career, 33% career 3’s which is always good, see people look at the numbers but they don’t look at how he still kept his averages above anyone else. And he was always studying players, he watched film of AI, TMac, you name it like the guy dissected and everything reasons why when players burned him for 40 he went back and worked... and got them again, when he lost in game 6 to the Celtics went back and worked, like the guy knew why he had to do, if he never got injured I assure you that he would have been closing in On being number one in all time Scoring and averaging more numbers, but Kobe has always been great just hated his career didn’t continue because of Injuries but he went out hard 60 points and leaving this world with great memories, Lebron is up there and I pray he has great durability that he keeps going 🙏🏽
Kobe has few Details episode; and youtubers followed through. May not be with ESPN but he made the impact, and started discords with game plays for basketball entertainment.
And I absolutely loved the both of them together truly wanted to see my life from the time I met them being together to the day I last breath I wanted to see them to be together not ever wanting to see them apart Kobe Bryant changed up a lot of things in his life and as he became an older man he became more and more of what was inside of him he didn't fight it he didn't let life take him away from it you can see in each and every step he took that he was changing and becoming more of what was inside of him which was nothing short of a balanced beautiful spirit A true absolute loving father a true absolute loving husband and a true absolute loving brother and a true absolute loving friend giving of himself over and over to so many they killed our brother and took him away from us this is a disgusting world we live in we have to take better care of one another
Real talk they killed my man but watch Friday when LeBron play the gonna be on his nuts they talking about him in here this isn't about LeBron but his name gets brought up they sacrifice kobe man sad for LeBron success I tell u ever dog has its day
I really hope that the NBA would honor Kobe in All-Star game. Like have all the west players wear no. 24 and all east wear no. 8. I've already seen this message about 30 times since Sunday. Might as well copy it since originality is no longer existing these days.
I've never in life seen a Man like Kobe Bryant, I feel sooo sad about this that I wake Up thinking of it Im and Im only a fan of Kobe Bean Bryant the G.O.A.T. .
I like Kobe because he wasn't your stereotypical YOYOYO bling bling basketball player. He was true to himself and did things his way and wasn't afraid. I mean, he was a huge Harry Potter fan and wrote books for children unlike YOYOYO up in da clubs gnome-sayin' stereotypical. Na'mean?
If he flew in a Helicopter everyday for a commute that is crazy. Those things crash all the time. They aren't theoretically supposed to fly. They only fly because of hydraulics. The blades turn into the wind.
i'm a minute 30 in. Please tell me they talk to Barnes about his ball fake where Kobe didn't flinch. Edit: Nope. Still amazing insight into why Lebron and Kobe are both great at the end of games, but in different ways.
They really should make it illegal for news stations to talk about deaths in accidents until it’s confirmed by the police or fire department because it was sickening seeing the lies they posted
1:52 so no one caught that shade? I respect Zach for that lol. Yes, NBA media is getting further and further away from the game so that women can sit where Rachel Nichols is. Kobe Bryant's show detail more than proves the legitimacy of Zach's claim..
Catch in the beginning where they are talking about Kobe changing the media conversation from the bs topics and then Rachel Nichols says “I don’t know what you are talking about” espn paying her off to protect their image. Espn BS
It pains to me that the very reason he took the helicopter was so he could spend more time with his loved ones. But in turn, it would also be the same reason for this tragedy. Death is just so unfair, it doesn't care about your accolades or your character, it's just completely arbitrary.
