When people talk about Kobe Bryant's game, most of the time they'll be talking about his scoring, about his mentality and about his dunks. But often, they're forgetting one of the most important aspects of his greatness. Kobe's defense! He was one of the best defending guards in NBA history. His lockdown D, a thing of beauty! He definitely deserves more credit for his defense. 9 First All Defensive Team selections. 😱😎

I agree. The thing about Kobe is that he had elite defense worthy of being on the 1st team all defense although , his offense was on an extremely higher level compared to the rest history of the NBA that we forget about his defense. His defense was was Tier 1 but his offense was Tier 0.

Been paying attention to some of the narrative lately as well. Media creates and perpetuates a lot of drama in sports. They should be focused on the game rather than turning it into a constant gossip column. Rachel is definitely guilty of this and Kobe is right for trying to change how the media handles things. They should be focused on the game more than anything.

Kobe wanted people to talk about DETAILS of basketball. Hence the name of his show. I guarantee if so-called "sports analysts" talked about the actual game like screens, jump shot mechanics, footwork etc, he'd have joined ESPN as an analyst himself instead of making his own show Detail
@brics6873

People post these post that he had the most career misses and all that, but never look at that he also averaged 44% his whole career, 33% career 3’s which is always good, see people look at the numbers but they don’t look at how he still kept his averages above anyone else. And he was always studying players, he watched film of AI, TMac, you name it like the guy dissected and everything reasons why when players burned him for 40 he went back and worked... and got them again, when he lost in game 6 to the Celtics went back and worked, like the guy knew why he had to do, if he never got injured I assure you that he would have been closing in On being number one in all time Scoring and averaging more numbers, but Kobe has always been great just hated his career didn’t continue because of Injuries but he went out hard 60 points and leaving this world with great memories, Lebron is up there and I pray he has great durability that he keeps going 🙏🏽

Catch in the beginning where they are talking about Kobe changing the media conversation from the bs topics and then Rachel Nichols says “I don’t know what you are talking about” espn paying her off to protect their image. Espn BS
