Skip and Shannon: UNDISPUTED 1. Kobe is a better defender because Kobe only guarded PG or SG that's why he makes all defensive teams. 2. The Best defensive players in the NBA for the past 5-6yrs have been SF. The Best 2 way NBA players are all small forwards. Also it's like arguing anyone in the league is on Kwahi or IGGY level because they are in good defensive teams and people run away from these guys. But for LeBron he also guards 1-5 and still has better defensive ratings then most people. Last year Kwahi had the worst stat in his career because people isolated him on defence does that make him a bad defender. LeBron has a poor defensive team where his PF can't defend and starting Center is smaller then him and is non athletic.

Bill russell wasn't a leader like kobe lebron or mj... Kobe and mj both have winning records in finals appearances and thats what matters to me. They all had great teams but lebron just doesnt have that extra like jordan or kobe. Kyrie does... Wade does... But thats a whole other debate.

Bron and Kobe had 2 chances to meet in the finals. Bron lost in the Eastern Conference finals for the 1st one, and Kobe got swept by Dallas in the western conference finals for the 2nd. If you notice, people only talk about Bron not coming thru, but conveniently forgot about Kobe doing the same.

First and foremost Shannon knows aint nobody more dominant than shaq but Lebron Played with Shaq so what is he really talking about who's better than shaq that Lebron played with Shaq, and Kobe won the Chip against the Celtics the year they paired up which means Lebron couldn't get to the finals with the most dominant Center in the League but Shannon aint finna discuss that all he's gonna talk about is how Lebron using his longevity to rack up these numbers does that mean he's the goat no that jus means he's been good player for a long time and its taking him longer to reach the and surpass the people he's supposed to be greater than Jordan accomplished all his feats in 15 seasons Kobe won his last title in his 14th season and Lebron is what in his 19th season and still hasn't caught up to Jordan and still doesn't have more rings than Kobe that says a lot.

Pure Skip is definitely right🤣🤣Kobe is 2 levels over Lebron as a player, 2 levels, he just wasn't obsessed about statistics like Lebron, he only cares about the numbers and when it comes finals, he choke and his incredible team lose against Dallas. Kobe always plays better than Lebron when it is most important and 5 titles against 3 isn't only argument, Kobe won last 2 titles with worse team than every other Lebron's team when he won the title. Also Buill Russell isn't the greatest of all time because of 11 championships he has because you can't compare someone who played more than 60 years ago with someone who plays now. Yeah, if Buill Russell had 11 championships in this era, he would be the GOAT, because in this era, it is nearly impossible to have more than 6 titles. Buill Russell played in 60s, while Kobe and Lebron played long time together, in the same era, and in that same era Kobe has more rings than Lebron, but that's not the point. Lebron was never soo competitive like Kobe, he never had that mentality like Kobe, I just never saw it it Kobe has ability to make championship team with role players, Lebron didn't do it.

Trey Simpson No, actually. 1. There were much less teams in the NBA so it was much easier to play. 2. African Americans and people of color were discriminated against in the NBA so a bunch of foreign players couldn't play, making the league easier. 3. The shot clock was much faster, which meant contested shots and rebounds. Big men get rebounds and can make contested shots. 4. The players were much smaller and lighter, so centers and power forwards ruled.

The ability of Skip arguing does not = the fact that Kobe > LeBron. As shown in this year exit of my Lakers with LeBron. Even with AD man still can't win it. And if you are arguing injuries let me remind you that Kobe won it with having a 1.5 injury per year avarage in the games he played during his 7 finals that he won 5 of. The only thing LeBron has on Kobe is the fact that he has the top 0.0001% of body perfection. LeBron is blessed with pinical of human physical genetics. Man is unrivaled in the way his body is keeping up with him, Bryant's body gave up on him after 15 years and was a total of torn achilies/torn sholder/knee surgery x3 and 3 broken fingers in the last 5 years of his pro carear.
