His mentality in the Olympics with the redeem team showed that perfectly when he literally told LeBron and company he was gonna run straight through gasol and proved it on the first possession. I love Kobe but he did anything to win. I remember growing up watching him vs McGrady all the time and I’m from LA but I still loved T-Mac’s game so when I saw Kobe come down with his elbow straight to t-Mac’s lower back … that’s when I knew he would do anything to win . I mean the elbow to Mike bibis nose in the playoffs also, the list goes on . Love him or hate him I’m just glad he repped the lakers baby !

Wish he were still around and involved with the league somehow. Maybe guest spots on tnt inside the nba at least. His passion and knowledge of the game were amazing and it’s a huge loss for everyone. Kobe is one of my idols and its that fierce determination abd drive that made me a kobe fan for life. I sold my entire deck of Yu-Gi-Oh cards as a teen and i was very good champion level and took most of the money and bought a kobe jersey then rebuilt a new deck because like kobe i would always keep striving to ve better then i was the day before.
