I compare the Kodak Ultra F9 film camera with the Ilford Sprite II 35mm camera to see which is the best reusable camera. I want this video to help you to decide which budget film camera you should buy. Both of these cameras were tested using 35mm Fujifilm C200.

bought the Kodak F9 not too long ago to have as a fun camera that purposely won't take the best pictures and give my kodak gold a certain "flawed' look. So far I've been happy with it . I agree about the astestic with the soft touch feel of textured part. What impressed me the most though was it's packaging for this type of camera. From the quality of the box and firm quality foam etc. I almost didn't really want throw out the box. It was that nice.

When you said you used the 35mm Fujifilm C200, did you mean the old one or the new Fujicolor 200 because the old one was discontinued like a year back?

Hey! I don’t actually know where the bag is from, my brother got it me from Berlin. I know you can pick up similar ones and I find it really handy as a less conspicuous camera bag!

They are the same camera made by some Chinese company 😃The AGFA Photo is also the same. Only difference is the color and brand logo.

Because it's a film camera you have to developed it first and then scan the film after that you can transfer it to your phone

Why not buying a „real and usable“ film camera second hand? This is burning resources and generating new plastic garbage….

I agree that it’s far better to buy an old camera. But I think for a lot of people buy these cameras where they might have bought a disposable, so in my eyes this is better than the alternative.

@@Emma-nw2xg This all holds true for for second hand P&S cameras, only that the lenses and photos of older cameras will be much (!) better and again: You will not generate new garbage. These are wasted resources…

If you have the opportunity to buy an old camera buy it! If I have the chance to buy one, I'll buy it, but in my case I need a film camera in a few days because I'm going on vacation. There are many reasons why people buy these cameras, but if we have the money and the opportunity, obviously we will buy something better.

@@renatagarciaduarte3023 For sure this could be a reason to buy such a camera. But don’t be too disappointed about the image quality. Anyhow the remaining question is, why not just using your smartphone during holiday? Output will be dramatically better. For me film photography with 35mm film is about the experience with old mechanical cameras or slide film. This little plastic thing does not make fun nor deliver any good output.

I can't believe people buy these things. They're a complete ripoff. Just pick up an old cheap camera at a thrift store. Or just ask an old person. They probably have a camera exactly like this that they got as a free gift for subscribing to a magazine 30 years ago that they'll just give you.

Both of these cameras are junk. You can get much better film cameras at the thrift store for way less. The photos you showed were lacking contrast and very soft.
