Fun vegetable to grow in your home garden, many ways to consume after harvest and nearly all the non-root can be used to feed humans, or the discards to your animals, chickens, goats, sheep, hogs or cattle. Great video!!!+

Love kohlrabi. My parents grew a lot of it in the garden when I was a kid. (Southern MN) My favorite raw vegetable for snack food, not always available in stores here. Saw a tv segment about a guy near Palmer Alaska that grows them to reach 60 -80 lbs each!

My dad grew these when we were kids. We ate them raw out of the garden. Just peeled them and ate with a little salt. Small ones were the best since they didn't get woody. Thanks for the video

Thanks! Full length travel farm visits will be released next week (or sooner) and March and forever on from that point! We have about 8 filmed this season and about 14 more to go!

We usually grow it every year. It holds well on the counter or the fridge and you can prepare it many ways. One of our favorites is in a brine. It makes a great crunchy snack. Good video!
