If given the chance there's so much they can teach us . I personally feel they understand us better than we think . I think as humans we must protect them as much as possible for I believe they know exactly whats happening . They are beautiful creatures and they look to us to save them . How can we not ?
Koko is at least with her cats in RIP always learning something new each day from koko never got the chance to meet her thanks for everything you smart and bright animals take care. Joe
I am sad that koko passed ,but life is life, unfortuneatly.we all die. What annoys me is some think animals are dumb.. An doubt their ability to learn, we are like different beings but same..all the various ways the universe expresses it's self... Different cultures an language, looks an expression. ,but when shown the language, can communicate the basics,( at least) like love an feelings .etc .sentinate beings, non the less.
I hope she gets very old... most get 50 as oldest... :( beautiful age tho but it will be a pain in the heart if koko is gone, we will deeply miss her, let's pray that day is not soon, God bless you beautiful koko 😘😘your a gift from God
they need to make a video with penny interviewing koko and ask her questions like: 1) how do you feel? 2) can you communicate with other animals? 3) if not, what does it feel like when you're with another species like kittens? 4) do you want to live in the wild? 5) are you happy living in the human world? 6) what can we do to help you find a mate and have a baby? 7) do you remember your mother and father? 8) what happens after death? (in the "koko the gorilla who talks" documentary on netflix she answered this question but i'd like her to elaborate if she can. she signed "dig hole, goodbye" 9) do you see anything when you sleep? (i.e. dreams) 10) what do you wonder about? 11) do you have any questions for us?
She should have let koko breed. If koko has babies she could teach her offspring and then her offspring could teach their offspring. We would have smart gorillas then they would take over the world.
Unattentive visit me awe Koko was smart she understood language plain and simple she understood a vocabulary to communicate with her mommy she learned love affection and everything else humans associate with communication
You know...pf all those naysayers in the video, NOT ONE of them has applied for a grant to finance a study to prove that a gorilla ISN'T using language to communicate. And, if the gorillas communicate with their calls and grunts, they why is it so impossible to believe that, if human language is at their disposal, they wouldn't use human language to communicate as well? Koko was trying to teach All Ball (her first cat) to use sign language. That is RARELY discussed.
@vergilthealphaandomega8189 Says YOU. How many gorillas have YOU worked with, again? None, right? JAFO. Koko was criticized for calling watermelon "candy water", one of her cats "lipstick" because of its red fur, and she called a ring a "finger bracelet" which dolts like you found hilarious until it was discovered that there was a tribe who used that exact phrase for the word, "ring".
So.... he doesn't talk? You said he talks but he doesn't. He knows sign language, he knows how to communicate, he's remarkably intelligent, but I clicked on this to hear a gorilla literally vocally say the world titties or masturbation or something. This is false advertising. I'm suing.
