All one needs to use is a push pin to set the initial starting hole and then also simply follow that up by using a one sixteenth inch drill bit to hand twist and enlarge the initial push pin hole. Then mix up a quarter size dollup of two part half hour cure rate epoxy resin; then simply coat the wading boot traction screws with the epoxy resin mixture; then also hand screw in each of the wading boot traction screws to help spread the epoxy resin mixture in the newly created enlarged hole. Then unscrew and take out each of the wading boot traction screws and then simply recoat them with a second final coating of epoxy resin; and then hand screw in each of the wading boot traction screws and let dry for at least a day. Now the wading boot traction screws will finally be secure in the wading boots and now also be highly unlikely to be pulled out for the rest of the year. Yes this method is a little more work but the additional time invested will all but insure that those kold cutter wading boot traction screws will stay in ones wading boots for as long as potentially possible; which ultimately saves time and frustration down the road in the field. Also buy the Kold Kutter wading boot traction screws in the bulk quantity bag of 250 so that one has plenty of future spares in the instances some of them might get pulled out and/or need to be replaced due to being worn down from time to time. One will easily be able to either replace each wading boot traction screw as they wear out or even completely replace all the wading boot traction screws at the same time each fishing season without even worrying about the potential future cost of replacement Kold Kutter traction screws. Now one can even keep the old worn down Kold Kutter traction screws as in the field emergency replacement traction screws without having to worry about them being pulled out; since they are only the old recycled Kold Kutter traction screws.
