Surprising Indeed ... Foodka was supposed to be a channel which would provide us with information about the hidden gems in this city ... Starting from the rolls episode to the momo episode , the pice hotels , the cabin restaurants ... Everything this channel showed was just splendid❤️ However, it breaks my heart when Foodka is just promoting the 5 star restaurants which firstly many people cannot pay and secondly doesnt provide you with the best quality food which it promotes... I am a very big fan of Foodka and have watched every episode of this series atleast 4 times .... Every suggestion by Foodka has just been outstanding ... But during this pandemic when people are suffering , is it necessary to promote the 5 star hotels?? Could'nt you guys have showed us how to enjoy at home by cooking meals for ourselves .... Foodka has an exceptional sense of good food and surely he can guide us to make good food and enjoy the same PS - dada market e supply pawa jacche ... Logeder kacche akhun poyesha nei kenar ... I have watched this episode twice to fulfill my Sunday morning. A great episode with some great information. It's a great initiative to attract the food enthusiasts of Kolkata (or, around Kolkata) to cherish the Puja during the pandemic. Moreover, the buffet spread is well balanced from the price point perspective. Thanks to Mir, Indrajit and the whole team as this shoot perhaps wasn't the easiest at this time. Today we went to Hyatt Regency to have our lunch.. Foodka told the buffet costs around 1399 but the actual price is 1799 .. Foodka told they will serve Ilish, Bhetki Fry, Mutton Rogan Josh, Chicken jhol, Pulao,Luchi.etc. But when we went, there was no such items available mentioned by foodka..Puja Special buffet e ulto palta ranna dicche!! Bengali items toh kichui nei ..Taste was pathetic.. Total waste of money.. We paid 10k for such food 🤣 Lol even the roadside dhabas serve better food than Hyatt ! Food theke gondho berocche.. Literally mone hocche bashi khabar gorom kore dieche

Khub valo laagche dujonke..Starting from Durga Pujo to Dol..kolkata is the most happening city in the country. I've been to so many places but the quality and standard of food of kolkata is way way above all the cuisines I've tasted so far. Keep the good work going both of you..you guys simply rock and the way you present in simple amazing👍👍 Miss Kolkata even more during the pujo season.

Message being sent out is extremely irresponsible and insensitive ....It all hunky dory when the shoot is being done with minimal to no load of other customers... I'd like to see how they maintain the same when people turn up..... Not sure how guys can be part of a promotion campaign which put people's health and possibly life at risk...very unfortunate.

If we're to call it a day for Covid outbreak, then what awaits is something punitive: the protocol governing our safety becoming more stringent in the days to come and the accompanying plethora of worries - bordering on thanatophobia - turning morbid; but the 'Hungry Baaj' and its fierce flight might perhaps allow us to gallivant during Puja thereby letting us form some quixotic ideas that must not be obfuscated - at least for the sake of the greatest festival ! But can it be prudent enough for us to get emboldened by this duo in terms of mollycoddling our taste-buds? And can we afford to catch hold of the maxim: 'ignorance is bliss' ? If it turns 'Yep' then it could fairly be the story of the feisty people riding roughshod over all else; but if it turns 'Nope' then Foodka's exhortation might prove futile in fact. Post Script: Foodka's visits to these star addresses are a welcome change; but can it be a win-win situation for all gluttons to show their forté at this point of time? Seeing this i went to hyatt waterside cafe to have dinner.. menu was so limited as well as service was also very poor..nothing was available..staff was also poor..not at all value for money!! Very dissapointed as per hyatt standard!!

Hyatt Regency Food was very bad total waste of money Lunch buffet at the waterside cafe was pathetic footpath quality food low standard food with foul smell shame on Hyatt regency . From now onwards I am not going to trust Foodka anymore for your information we paid 10k a total waste of money .

পশ্চিমবঙ্গে র অন্য শহরে খাবার দাবার নিয়ে কিছু করলে খুব ভালো হয়।

এই ফুডকা শুধু বড়োলোকের কথা ভাবে দুর্গাপুজোর সময় আর তারা কি খাবে, সেটাই দেখায়। যারা এই হোটেল গুলোতে যাবার ক্ষমতা রাখে, তাদের সংখ্যা মনে হয় সীমিত। সেখানে বাকি মানুষদের কথা চিন্তা করা গেলো না!! সত্যি বড়ই দুঃখজনক।।

Today I again visited Hyatt...but joined in Mohabhoj held at Regency Ballroom not waterside cafe. The ambience was totally different. The behavior of the staff like Mr. Thakur, Mr. Irshad was very warm. The quality of food was Excellent..totally it was like a Traditional Bengali food. Also it was value for money. I'm giving them 10 out of 10...Friends only 1 days left..visit Hyatt Ballroom and enjoy some excellent delicious food..👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Dear Indrajit da and Mir Da - This was CRAZY GOOD! Thanks so much for these two puja series! Unfortunately, in the USA, we do not get off during Durga Puja. Do they have such authentic bengali food buffets during Summer (July-August) or during Christmas and New Year?? I also recommend that in your blogs, you put the address of the places you are suggesting. Your creative genius and Indrajit da's content is both commendable and applaudable!
