Great, how do you know the barometric pressure you are setting it to has not changed since the last observation? What scale errors exist at other altitudes that would be out of calibration range? This is not to be performed by the pilot but by an appropriately rated shop. This just encourages people to "help" their friends try to save money, but I have seen some altimeters move back and forth due to internal component failures. Nice video, but do not do it. Call an appropriately rated shop to be safe.
