"The most competent Decks than the recent Box must be Wyrm and VAST VULCAN" One of the most shocking plot twists in Rush's Duel Links. I say this since no one gave a dime for Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan to run (even Thunder Deck had better expectations when it came out) I think that says a lot about how Burn Damage is too strong in Rush's Duel Links: Noodle Deck, a Deck that didn't have any impact in the actual format, became powerful mostly because of its Control and Burn Damage variant. Now, let's talk about Wyrm Deck. I feel like this Deck is replicating the best thing it knows how to do from the real Rush Duels format: being a decent and competitively viable Deck where Maximum version is the best version for now. I say this since the Maximum version began to lose weight when better support for Wyrm arrived (and lost more weight with the arrival of Fusion Summon) Of course, the Maximum version was revived with better support in the future, but Wyrm Deck was no longer a viable option to use in the Meta at that time. In this case, I feel that Wyrm Deck is only missing a handful of cards to be more successful and more powerful (I don't think the Trap Cards since I'm sure they prefer to carry the Trap Card's Staples anyway instead of Wyrm's Trap Cards) PS: This is something I didn't notice at first, but this last Box gave us some Over Rush Rares for the town. Likewise, those exclusive Over Rush Rares for Rush's Duel Links that do not exist in the real format continue to increase.
@@Tomatosaurs Honestly if the game had 8k LP, we might not have had the "Dragias tax" as a premiere fixture of the format for so long (if at all) The lower LP does help (and harm) certain things though. I wonder how many other differences it would create if we had 8k
@@Tomatosaurs No idea, but I suspect that's why Noodle Deck was good in the first place. However, Voidvelgr, Rush's Cyber Dragon, Sevensgias, Praime and Secret Investigator are already cooking with the idea of having 6000 LP in Rush's Duel Links (of course, if we get those Decks in the future)
Man, im still trying to go through the box a 2nd time, really annoyed they keep giving us mini boxes, really wish they would just give us super minis instead, at least they werent filled with R and N cards, like, seriously, why the **** theres 10 R and N of each card in the box?!?!
Speaking of Wyrm, Asana and Asaka received new support recently. A rather curious one: Constructor (Asana's Deck) - The new Boss Monster pushes you to use the Maximum variant with Fusion (but, to be honest, I think that Boss Monster fits better with the Fusion version of Wyrm Deck) - The new Low Level Monster is basically Asana's Demolition Soldier Hell Met, but better in some ways. Also, finally more options for recycling Field Spells. - The new Field Spell seems to be intended for use in the Maximum variant. However, it is redundant since Autumn Leaves of Blisstopia exists. Demolition (Asaka's Deck) - The new Low Level Monsters don't seem to be all that impressive, but they are welcome options for the Deck. - The new Fusion Monster doesn't seem as powerful, but it helps that it's semi-generic (and it only makes Demolition Soldier Hell Met even better) - The highlight is the new Field Spell as it allows you to use Fusion with Materials from the GY, which encourages filling the GY with many Wyrm cards. Likewise, Demolition Soldier Hell Met is perfect for recovering Fusion and the Field Spell. There is also a kind of Pot of Greed for Wyrm Decks that both Decks take advantage of well (in addition to more consistency) Tomatosaurs will go well with "Dark Matter of Phantoms" as it has some new options to choose from.
Honestly the Sky Emperor skill is better so I don't have to deal with face down position monster my opponents stalls when I Maximum Summon Draco 😊😅 and it works like a charm!
I have tried the Sky Emperor skill and might do a video on it at some point. The issue I find with it is you just have to "draw the max" since the only consistency the skill offers is occasional situational draws.
