Amsterdam is so crowded on Kingsday but fortunately it's celebrated throughout the whole country so if you don't like big crowds or want to party outside Amsterdam the train will take you everywhere. Utrecht is still my favorite place to party on Kingsday

FYI the Netherlands has a colony that is now part of Brasil, Dutch Brasil or New Holland.

The train is only two levels with semi third floor as entrance. So you get in at a mid level then it splits up in two other levels one up and one down.

I never went to Amsterdam on King's day. It is way too busy. Sometimes it will take you an hour to walk 100 meters. And everybody is either half drunk, or loaded. My son went once and he was amazed by the utter chaos of drunk people vomiting in the train, and falling over all the time. He said he loved that he saw it once, but he will not go again.

We have "the rhythm" from (partly former) parts of The Dutch Kingdom that are overseas in the caribean area; the ABC islands, SSS islands, Surinam, etc...

Now I was soooo confused to hear you speak German. With Dutch pronunciation. Sooo cool 😍😂 Congratulations, I understood every single word ! And the Dutchies probably as well - there you can see how close these languages are 😄 I clicked on the video in the middle of the premiere and at first I assumed you thought it was Dutch ... try to pronounce the letters like Portuguese, that might help 😂 (Actually the letters are mostly pronounced like Spanish letters so Portuguese might work as well to some extent. _Edit: After a little research I now believe that it works quite well with Brazilian Portuguese.)_ It was just these days as I thought that it can't take long that you'll travel to the Netherlands. You'll be fine linguistically 😃👍

It means that everything is different from normal, in this case also that it is very crazy. That's a saying in Portuguese too? Cool to know 😃 (German h is mostly pronounced like the English one in hallo/hand/Holland. But after a vowel mostly it just makes the vowel sound a little bit longer.)

The train has 2 floors there are a lot of riding. you can when you enter the train upstairs or down stairs. a small part at the doors are single floor part. we cal then dubbeldekker.

Yeah, there are a lot of random dj's everywhere, but still- ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) might beat it in terms of weirdness.. During ADE, I once saw a party in the supermarket inside of the Amsterdam Central Station. That was crazy, you could just.. buy a beer or some snacks, inside, because you know.. it's a supermarket, and keep partying. There was a whole sound system, dj-set, lights. Crazy haha. I don't know if there are good videos on ADE, but it is another one of those pretty famous things in Amsterdam that attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists. In fact, there were over 1000 parties during ADE in over 200 locations in Amsterdam. It's the biggest music conference in terms of electronic music, like hardstyle, hardcore, house, techno, dance, so on- it's one of my fav times of the year always, well besides Gay pride and Kingsday is pretty interesting too (although I prefer kings night). My fav band?/Dj group idk how to call it, Royksöpp usually performs at ADE, love that one so much.

Braziliaan ritme: The Netherlands have then sins 1700, when we collonized the island just above south America. we still have some colinies there to this day. If you want to see a real braziliaan carnival parade look up Summer Carnival in Rotterdam or if you like drum like this look up battle of the drums in Rotterdam.

We call the rythm playing group a "sambaband" where I live...

no tax evation, many people have kind of garage sales who dont have the machines to use a card and on kingsday no taxes on sales are payed (execptions for regular traders i think)

I would avoid Amsterdam like the plague on the 27th of April. Way too many people there.

Every year on Kingsday they visit one town in one provence of the Netherlands. This was in the South of the Netherlands, where I live. Amsterdam isnt Dutch anymore. The people in shops and bars usually cant even speak the language. If you want to enjoy the Netherlands id avoid the big cities and go to coastal or rural towns. Provinces like Brabant, Gelderland and Friesland provide a much better experience to what is Dutch than the foreign madness cities like Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht provide. Amsterdam during Kings Day is something to be avoided if you are not 16. Its fun once or twice, but there are a million people coming to the city that on a good day already stinks of piss hahaha

Please don't use the green screen, it's not just perfect. Fix it or leave it. Your face is surrounded with white blubber. It's annoying, honestly your face is pretty enough Yes the Dutch are direct, but honest. Don't screw your nice channel with it .
