Br. No. RFO-06 (Kopar)
WDFCC CTP-15A project team successfully push launched the 79.98m A1-P1 Downline Open web girder of self-weight 439 MT at RFO-06 Kopar during Wee hours of 09th April 2023.
The overall launching weight including the pulling arrangement was 524 MT.
The truss are assembled over the embankment on the top of trestle.
The truss length 79.98m long, 6.4 m Width, 10.8 m height.
2 nos Electrical winch machines of 10 MT Capacity each placed in front of A1, were used to pull the bridge girder from one end of the bridge to the other end
The nosing girder is fitted in front of the truss in order to maintain the stability.
The pulling frame is fitted at the back side of the truss, and the reaction frame is mounted on A1 abutment.
The scheme was conceptualized and developed by the collaborated efforts of the Special Projects and Construction Methods (SP&CM).
