I like how in Korea, instant ramen is considered good food and a decent meal, whereas in the US people only eat instant ramen when they're craving it or when they're broke af.
People are complaining, why would I spent money on instant noodles when I can make them at home. Do you not buy sandwiches or hotdogs, sodas when your out all those things can me made at home as well, same thing it’s what comforting quick good.
Why I want to go to a restaurant where they just cook instant noodles when I can go to another one where have noodles with self-made broth, with prawn, pork, beef,....not just egg?
@@nabila9548 yeah it can help you for one week instant ramen need. But still can be good sometimes going there instead of mc Donald's etc . At least has a egg inside. Something useful
Entitled people: Why would we spend 3$ on ramen when we can just buy one and cook for ourselves. Students during their lunchtime: *You wouldn't get it*
Ramen package, egg, extra garnishings = $1.50-$2.00 You are literally just paying $1 more for someone to cook it for you and convenience of eating it there. Not to mention, they can make it perfectly (not too watery, noodles boiled just enough, and eggs not overdone).
The only way to receive true happiness is to be born again. Jesus loves you and is coming back to earth soon. This year is giving signs of end times. You need to repent. Please believe and spread the word
dumbconscript chill, sometimes it tastes better when someone cooks it for u lol. for example in indonesia there are lots of warmindo. they basically sell indomie, meanwhile we can cook it at home right? but for me and some indonesians think it tastes better to eat at warmindo than cook it for urself. that’s what i and some people think. idk hbu?
@@Sturmbannfuhrer2 wtf is wrong with you? now you will tell people how they should spend money for what they want to eat? why? who tf are you to tell someone's choice is dumb? Seriously people like you are dumb af and hella annoying.
"Why wouldn't you just cook ramen at home?" There's also alot of places like this in my country and most of the time people come here not to "eat" but to Hangout, so it's not about being "lazy" or "entitled" it's about finding a cheap place to chat that's not someone else home
@@CosmicValkyrie They meant more like you go there for the atmosphere; not everyone wants to stay at home all the time. I imagine this is also a hot spot for people coming home from work late/people just starving and want a quick meal asap/people who don't want to cook or didn't get their groceries yet. And yeah there are kids who don't have good relationships with their families so they may get their own food from outside a lot. There's something for everyone and these instant ramen stands are one of those.
uyndot no hun, it's true tho. i also eat it straight to the pot since i always saw other people around me eat it like that, and it also looks and tastes better (੭ ˃̶͈̀ ω ˂̶͈́)੭⁾⁾
uyndot well then that was my personal preference, and you should have not said that he just watched too much drama for him to say that in the first place, it might just be her “personal preference” too you know, just like you said.
before people start saying “why don’t you just cook instant ramen at home?” there can be several reasons to why people go to a restaurant like this, one can be they go to work and doesn’t have time to cook lunch at home, other restaurants are too far from the place where you work and students that have lunch outside school.
its also for people who are either just lazy or cant cook ramen right. it kinda gives u that home, warmish feeling even when ur eating outside precisely cuz its instant noodles
90% of people: complaining about other people complaining about wasting money 2% of people : actually complaining about wasting money 8% of people :other
When you use that water, you're also drinking the palm oil that was used to make those noodles. Long term, no good for your health. One of the worst oils you could ask for tbh. But guess thats how they just make it
Eggs go well with many foods and can be cooked several different ways.. Eggs are easy for me to digest plus have protein and omega 3 and 6 which I need in my diet
There are so many delicious foods in Gwangjang Market. And the quantity is plentiful. When you come to Korea, make sure to eat delicious food at Gwangjang Market.
The cup version is no longer that good I kind of getting sick of it but the packet version is getting spicier and I like it.i not in korea btw so the version here may not be as good as in korea
The first time I saw people eating straight from the pot was when I watching K-pop drama ie Boys Over Flowers. Gu Jun Pyo had fight with Geum Jan Di that he wants to eat over the lid of the pot😂
Sarah Saoo after years of eating maggie noodles, i got bored of the texture.when samyang enter malaysia, holy shit the noodle texture is new and i like it so much. I think samyang noodles was made of tapioca flour while maggie is from wheat.
I've always wanted to eat straight out those Korean pots!😍 and the instant Jajangmyeon looks really good!! Why did i watch this when I'm about to sleep?!😭
Having one of these pots is so useful only down side is that the handles are metal and it’s hot so u have to pick it up with a towel for kitchen mittens
I love that this is a thing - a place where you can buy instant ramen out of their package which you can buy in a store yourself, with some additions. I always call that "cooking with a premade base: That base is good, but can be improved on." Also, at that place, you won't have to hassle with cleaning and everything, which is a giant plus. ;-D
I'm watching this at 4:30 AM while eating junkfood 'cause I'm hungry and that's the only food I have right now and online food delivery service is closed during this time.
