I can tell by face features and Language, tho with Kazuha I wouldn't assume she was Japanese bcos she foes in fact look Korean and she doesn't have any of those Japanese features in most Japanese women

Well it goes for every race. If we look at a white person we also can't tell immediately their nationality if they are European or American and which country are they from. I couldn't have recognized that he is French.

I think different countries/ethnicities have crossed over too much to able to tell 100% of the time.

Nationality is specifically related to your passport. You can be born in Japan to Chinese parents but that doesn’t necessarily mean you have a Japanese passport. In this case, this person’s nationality will still be Chinese.

@@cee_el it depends on every nation tho. Based on what they define it. Some countries recognize dual citizenship while others have to drop one citizenship after moving to another nation. But I think that’s what citizenship defines but I’m not sure.

Yes, you can. In general, you can tell the difference between a German and an English guy at a single glance. You can tell a Frenchman and a Spaniard apart too. It is not going to be a hundred percent accurate every time, because people have been mixing up and migrating for millennia (and there are different types inside countries too), but in general... yeah. An average German and an average English stand out like sore thumbs. And nationality IS part of the criteria that can define ethnicity. Also, buy a map if you thing Germany and England are bordering countries.

@@Dacre1000 if you can see into their genetic material then sure you can determine if someone is majority descended from central Europe or Britain... but you can't tell nationality. Both countries have tons of ethnic Africans and Asians that are german or british nationality. They could show second generation German guy whose parents came from Japan, and by nationality he is German, but ethnicity is Japanese, so there's really no point in making people guess like that. Spanish people and Mediterranean in general tend to have slightly more tan complexity, but you still can't tell for example a random Portuguese from random Spanish. If you can then I believe you can put out of business all those websites that offer people to tell them their ancestry based on DNA. Just look at picture, bam - French! gimme me 50$, next! It's all random. I live in probably whitest country in world, and you can see people that could easily fit any part of Europe. Just like it's pointless when they show an American here and make people guess. Like, ofc it's American nationality, but ethnicity is Asian. So it's kinda weird, and even the guy in video was a bit like 'wha-?'
