So in my country india we dont have any such thing like prom but we do have farewell where we have games and dances but not like couples as they do in prom . but still we have fun with friends and my high school farewell is next month and i am excited for it

Lol don't forget the prom babies. Quite a few get pregnant at prom. I had a friend in high school who got pregnant at junior prom, gave the baby up for adoption and was super depressed her senior year.

12:00 it's perfectly ok not to know what you want to do after high school. They push you into college based on the idea that you will never return if you don't go immediately (there are supposedly statistics to back this up) -- but they really should have like a 2 year gap where you are actually trying things out: try some seasonal work, try to get an internship or apprenticeship, travel and learn, or just grind it out at a sh*tty job. Even take a few college courses in different subject areas before you fully dive in. The first time I went, I thought I knew what I wanted to do (studied English to be a teacher and maybe go into Law). I ended up depressed and dropping out in my 3rd year and hiking the Appalachian Trail which led to several years of teaching outdoor education programs and working on organic farms. 10 years later I've returned to a two year program in electrical & automation technology, which has the option of transferring into an electrical engineering program. I couldn't have foreseen this, so I shout to all graduating high schoolers who might stumble by: Just try stuff and learn what you do and don't like! Don't just be a lazy slob, but don't feel pressured to jump into debt because everyone is telling you that you need to!

I'm with Robert S (a previous comment) and I think Ella thinks this too. Hanna is a very beautiful young lady. I'ts hard to imagine her to be not pretty. I would think she had like a pretty librarian look at high school, she might have been shy and smart but never ugly.

I'm about to graduate high school in a day and this popped up in my feed lol. Also, my school wasn't able to send out the yearbooks on time before school ended and it was kinda expensive, so what my friends and I did was made these small booklets or brochures out of regular copy paper and we made people and teachers sign them on the last day of school. I know someone that also got a regular white T-shirt and had people sign on them with a marker. Either way, I'm super excited to graduate and I agree with the not doing what to do after high school. I changed my major and what I wanted to be SO many times. Rn I'm stuck and kinda firm with cybersecurity but I hope it's not something I'd change

I graduated when the COVID restrictions were ceased which meant I didn't need to wear masks when you're going to the school/to the store but only mandatory in the hospitals but we were still doing COVID tests when we were senior. what crazy was that: - we had to make an order of what everyone wanted and paid for our own orders.. - we had to pay for our yearbooks [it was of the photos taken before the party/our names and age]... - I was a date of two girls cause one of the girls didn't have a date. - I drunk at 18 [in some countries it's 18], weeks before I turned 19. I had breakfast at the afternoon because of the hangover - one guy was so drunk he lifted his shirt and got close to me while I was dancing. - our Spanish teacher was dancing to The Best by Tina Turner and even did the Native American war cry [the one BLACKPINK did in Boombayah and their stream] - I was doing my first exam while Taylor Swift held a commencement speech at the NYU. - we even had a Smorgasbord [A Swedish table] as a present from our mayor during our farewell..

In Canada, the legal age for drinking is 18 compared to the state. So the after-party is legal in Canada. Kind of sad for our neighbor.

This was a great idea for a video, and i liked it but. one of the koreans actually graduated from american school and went to a prom. And the other actually went to an american school. So the title is not all the way true. I was expecting koreans who never went to an american school or even been to america meeting an american high school graduate. If you do this again, please do this video again with koreans who never went to a an American school or never been to america.

LOL. For our graduation we knew ahead of time where our grad night was going to be held so we went there the night before and buried coolers of alcohol on the beach. The chaperones were oblivious as to why half of the graduating class was drunk as hell, but they also didn't care. The highlight was the amount of teens hooking up in random places lol.

I feel bad for the kids who graduated during COVID, no prom ;u; at least not a real prom in a sense. I graduated in 2015 and I went to prom with friends. I never did a prom afterparty :o. I never drank either, I never liked the taste of alcohol, all tastes bitter to me...and now I can't drink, not even a sip or it makes me sick.

The title is kinda misleading because one of the Koreans is Korean-American (and even graduated high school in America) and the other studied abroad in the U.S. So it's not their first time meeting an American graduate.
