Things I learned spending time in England and having English friends: 1. The phrase "tea time" doesn't necessarily mean having tea. It usually just means dinner. 2. Corner shops are better than anywhere else. 3. Throw a stone 50 feet anywhere and you'll find an Indian takeaway. 4. The most dreaded thing to hear in England is either "replacement bus service" or "England is knocked out of the euros before the quarterfinals" (all too often)

Wrong. Breakfast = 8 - 9am Dinner in the North = 12pm Tea = 5pm - 7pm Supper (occassionally) = 9pm - 10pm In the south they say Lunch then Dinner. Foreigners find British phrases so weird because there a large North South divide in the way we say things. It's very weird that this Scouser in the video says 'Sc - on' rather than 'Sc - own'

I cant believe I'm sitting here at the University of Liverpool Library finishing my summer abroad application (so my uni can send me to Korea) while wearing the same exact primark jeans that she's wearing 😭😭 I really hope that this is a sign and my uni sends me to Seoul this summer. The English had made Thier own Indian style curries based on Thier taste pallet. I guess the this is why a lot of English people will insist on the tika misala, madrass ect ect are such big parts of British cusuine.

11:45 Well Hermione is a Greek name and the Korean way is actually closer to the proper way, in comparison to the English way.. Hermione is pronounced "E-rmi-O-ni" ("e" like elephant and "i" like interest)

In New Zealand we eat the exact same thing but it’s also different. We love pies too and Sunday roast is pretty common here. Scones, jam and butter or bread, jam and butter.

Sorry but I have to say that one never eats a scone like a hamburger. The English who seriously enjoy a Devonshire tea and cafes who make a lot a money from serving them, would be aghast. It’s just not done!!! One halves the scone, top it with jam and cream, then you eat one half at a time, preferably not in one mouthful 😀

Ahhh I loved this video! It was fun seeing how excited everyone was to learn more about the British culture with Cady by sharing tea and scones. I definitely related to Byungeun throughout the video though!😅😂 English can be pretty intimidating to speak (especially if you don’t feel very confident in it), but it does get better with practice! I’ve also slowly been learning Korean, so I understand the struggle!😅 병은 화이팅!💜
