They picked good words for the English ones, "epitome" looks Italian, and "nauseous" looks French. Tough decisions for people not used to the Roman alphabet.

German is easy to guess, because of the long words with many consonants. The game would be more difficult if similar languages were mixed, such as Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. German and Dutch. Russian and Ukrainian.

1:50 For epitome, I'm impressed at how Heechan thinks, it's correct that the American has the most confident approach of the word yet the reason French also sounds legit is because it originates from Greek then Latin then Middle French (around 15th century). Good job catching that.

After hearing it in at least two episodes recently, 🇫🇮 I've been saying 🇩🇪🐿️ eichhörnchen all day along. 😂 Probably because it's pronunciation reminded me of how 🇸🇪 Swedish Swedish pronounces my absolute favourite word in the world 🇸🇪🇫🇮 sju (number 7). There's just something captivating in those kind of sounds. 🤔 It's important to note that 🇫🇮 Finland Swedish pronounces sju totally differently, meaning it almost sounds like a shoe in English (I try to use 🇸🇪 rikssvenka's pronunciation to the best of my abilities).

It's actualy very easy to know how word is from each language if know a little bit of each, if you just see something write on that language. They are very different of each other, so this make more easy. Portuguese have a lot of accent, but just one on each word, never two. Portuguese also have more consonant + vowel + consonant + vowel. Few word have a lot of consonant together as german. If a word is too long and have a lot of consonant together is probably german. Frech have a lot of vowels together and consonant too, but if some balance between the too. And english almost don't have any accent hardly could mistaken with a german word and a french word.
