Haha ok guys it cut off a bit, but in my opinion, I think the US doesn't have the best traditional food, but I think what makes it special is it's diversity! You can get really great Thai, Indian, Italian, Chinese food etc all within the same area. There's a lot of things that aren't the best in the states, but the diversity of culture is a plus in my opinion 😊 -Christina 🇺🇸
Soul food and our bbq is traditional. Saying that is disrespecting black Americans (USA has the second largest black population outside Africa, behind Brazil and most coming from slaves) and Native Americans. They have had a huge influence on our food and culture for generations. I’m not talking about foreign food, I’m talking about food that has developed in America for generations. I respect you but I don’t understand.
I think your honesty on the subject is superior to all the cuisines in the world! Nobody can be the best at everything. Except maybe the Irish or the Swedes...
If you don't think the U.S. has some of the world's greatest food, then you need to revisit the deep south. From biscuits and gravy to jambalaya, Texas chili and blackened catfish, Philly cheesesteaks, pulled pork barbecue, bagels and lox, Chicago deep-dish, Manhattan clam chowder, and Coca-Cola-American food is pretty damned good. The best, however, are Korean and real Sichuan (not represented).
I think Türkiye has recently become known for its national women's volleyball team.🇹🇷 We became Nations League and European champions in 2023. This was a serious success. The Olympics are next... I will not be modest. We know this job. We are a volleyball country.😄
We only heard about it because those poor girls were attacked.. Just a few days after we heard about the soccer referee being punched. So yeah no sorry the turkish reputation hasn't been stellar, it usually is not anyway considering how agressive the turkish leader is on the world stage.

As a Korean, I can't agree that Turkiye cuisine is unknown. In Korea, France, Italy, and Turkiye are selected as the top three dishes in the world. I've tried Börek, Kuymak, 케밥, and I've tried a food called Patlıcan dolması, and how to handle eggplant was interesting.

Unacceptable to not making a step as a German when it comes up to the music. Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and so many more have dominated the music scene for centuries and for what?!
Im German, and i have to say that Turkish food is the best in the World. I have eaten Brazilian food because of my family there, French food because i live close to the border, US food because of family there and obviously german food which i love. but every time i been to turkey i got back home with almost 10 kg more 😂 the crazy thing is, its not only the normal dishes but their deserts are insanely delicious. What i can say is, that we definitely have the best beer (people usually argue with that but we have so much beer that people need to try everything before judging) we definitely have the best cars, the best bread (not breakfast stuff like france but the normal Bread for example) and germany is so famous for its sausages. if someone love sausages they will tell this. The Music is also great, we have some very famous bands and artists but i wouldnt say we have the best couz if you look at the history, we cant keep up with the US but i think we have the best classical music for sure. All in all, I love that Countries are so different, and everyone has their good stuff.

Okay I'm going to say it because nobody else will - but Germans, even though we usually wouldn't say it because we're taught to be humble and not think too highly of our country, find it incredibly insulting how others talk about our language. Many foreigners will only have heard the Goebbels/Hitler propaganda speeches and the stupid "Krankenwagen" kind of parodies on youtube. I'm sorry, but if you take only that and think you can judge our language, you're incredibly small minded. Yes, german is not melodic like Italian, French, Portuguese or even Korean. But like with the people - you have to make an effort, dig deeper to find the depth and beauty. We are obviously not proud of much as a nation, but we do have an incredibly versatile language that you can get sooo creative with. It's perfect for poetry because inventing new words is very easy, you can build the most unique compound words. Also we have words for very specific feelings and even ways of living. Building images is easy with our language too and if you have lots of imagination and interest in literature, you could really benefit from studying german more closely. Maybe it's comparative to how chinese people sometimes feel, but we hate that we're seen as these cold hearted robot people that can only be valued for industry production. We're also the country of romantic poetry, fables, fairytales, philosophy, literature in general. If you don't care to study it, that is your problem. But then you can't go around judging the language either. Even when it comes to sound alone, you have to be exposed to it more to properly build an opinion. Same goes for Arabic, Russian and other languages that are often insulted. Don't forget that it's closely connected to people's national identity and culture.
German is a beautiful language that is unfortunately and unfairly judged by past history. But if you go beyond that, there’s so much cool history attached to the language. It’s the language of fairytales and composers.
You said it well. I am a victim too. I felt so embarrassed the only two times the German woman stepped forwards because we are taught to put our nation under the others since that Austrian idiot but to be honest, why should we? It's sad to be judged if you are proud of Germany. I like that Germans are not overly proud and hope we do not become as annoying as many Brazilians, Indians, Americans, Pakistani, Filipinos etc. that put other countries down even though their statistics are crap irl. Sure be proud of your motherland but be a bit humble. This is the best in my opinion.
i think Turkish food is really best and i think musics too not bad! these are songs that really touch your heart and make you feel like life with their flowing romantic langugage.
I am surprised that André from Brazil did not mention many traditional Brazilian foods, which there are so many!!! but he just simply said that Brazil take foods from other countries

The Turkish language doesn't assign gender to any words; all pronouns and nouns are gender-neutral. Despite being one of the most challenging languages to learn, it remains among the best just because of being a gender-neutral language. Having sampled food from around the world (I love discovering new tastes and love eating food), I appreciate that Turkish cuisine is not limited to just meat or vegetables; it offers a variety of dishes with diverse ingredients.
With all the answers here, I suspect very little objectivity. ;) I'm German and wouldn't describe our food as the best. It's all a matter of taste. I love Korean food and also dishes from Italy, Spain, India, China, Turkey and of course Germany. But there is no national cuisine that completely suits my personal taste, but rather a few dishes. And that will certainly be the case worldwide, but I haven't traveled the whole world and can therefore not make a final judgment. I can't judge a country by street food, it has very little to do with really good food. When it comes to music, personal taste plays the biggest role and I particularly like music from England. In the classic area, Germany, Italy and France play a major role. I would like to clearly defend myself against the degradation of the German language and it doesn't sound aggressive either. Those who have actually traveled to Germany certainly do not find the German language aggressive. You should hear me speak. ;) The greatest poets come from Germany, the language can describe every feeling, every emotion and simply everything. It is not easy to learn because there are words for everything and there are differences in grammar. Any language can sound aggressive if you want, but please don't use old records from World War II as an example - no one talks like that. Someone here in the comments found the Korean language to be shouting. Of course, Korean can sound like any other language. However, Korean sounds very beautiful and melodic to me. Basically, all we learn from videos like this is that, on the one hand, a lot is a matter of taste, but on the other hand, knowledge and experience are also important. Every country has good and not so good to offer and for me it is absurd to make such comparisons. They are for entertainment purposes only. Be happy!
Funny how it's always Germans I see in the comments that write with logic, empathy and open mindedness about the world. Many Brazilians, Turks, Indians etc. just spew how great their own country is and sometimes put down other.
@@whyparkjiminnotridejimint I think that's overcompensation. A kind of slight inferiority complex and the urge to prove to everyone how great you are. All of the countries listed are developing countries with a variety of problems. You try to emphasize the positive.
Turkish in the US. Tex-Mex is a joke, just a clever marketing. I live in California. Traveled from Florida passing thru LA, AL, Tx, AZ and everything in between. TX people = 400 lbs walking whales ready to die from heart attack. You literally can smell death in the restaurants I’m not kidding. BBQ culture is cool in the south. Deep dish pizza? Again it’s a joke. It’s dough uncooked.
I love how André fought for it 😁🇧🇷 - only for have Amazon I would already say we have the best food (açaí just won the recognition of the best fruit of the world) but also for being a huge country we have literally all the foods (fishes from river and sea, meats, vegetables). We call our food "real food" because we don't approve to eat only sandwich in the lunch, you have to eat a balanced meal. - the best part of our beaches and what make it unique is the active beach culture: people getting tan, playing sports, working out, restaurants and music to dance... - BRAZIL HAVE THE BEST MUSIC too, André! We literally have hundreds of different genres for each region of Brazil! International music almost don't enter in our charts because we listen to our own music
Sinceramente.. Música coreana é um lixo.... Se vcs querem gostar de k-pop ok .. .Mas gente, não vem falar que isso é música de qualidade não... Só criança e adolescente e geração teen gosta disso.... As a Turk, I think Turkish is a fantastic language. You can understand this from the expressions and Turkish is a language that makes you speak Turkish, yes it is difficult but I think it is a great language to speak. About music, I think we have wonderful emotional music, you can see this in some TV series music. When it comes to food, I think Turkish food is definitely number one. There is no need to say much about it. And Anatolia is a very rare place because it can experience four seasons at the same time and hosts many natural wonders, not just beaches :)
The thing about german food is, that it might look very basic, but hell we know how to make good basic stuff! Like when you want a good hamburger you need a good bread/bun and meat in first place! You can add so much onion, cheese and fancy stuff you want to it, it will never taste really good when the basics suck.
As a Turk, I believe we have the best food. In other matters, I think music in any language can be enjoyable but French songs sound particularly nice. German sounds aggressive That's why I find humor videos entertaining. Jamaican people seem friendly I love Bob Marley. Brazil could be a great option for tourism due to its lush greenery and beautiful beaches. Koreans are very good at technology and I love kdrama. In general, these are my thoughts.
@@thevannmann You're right our taste buds vary and each country has its unique delicious dishes. What I mean is in general comparison Turkey offers a rich diversity in its cuisine and every dish has different options. Just trying street food takes time and I'm sure you'll love it.
@@thevannmann As a Turkish, I live in the U.S. I have access to world food, from Thai to Chinese to Vietnamese to French, Italian German you name it, I tried it! (Except, never been to an Australian restaurant, it doesn`t exist here) Every country has a dish or two that stands out. Like Adobo of Philippines, Pizza pasta and some meat from Italy (NOT the ones in US. Tried in Italy, there is a WORLD of difference and I am not just saying it. It really is the truth) American bbq like baby back ribs and t-bone steaks and good ol bbq sauce and all, I tried em all. Actually come to think of it, we have Outback Steakhouse that they heavily advertise with an aussie accent. Other than that onion ring, nothing to take home to. Again, I tried everything. Lobsters calamari snails from Viet/French. Tried Bratwurst and beer in Germany. Again every country has something to stand out. I am speaking very objectively. Turkish food is quite on a different level. No its not just about kabob and stuff. It is a dynasty of food from vegan options to heavy meat to..simply google a picture of what turkish breakfast looks like 🤣 Funny thing, Turkish cuisine is literally unknown, unlike French Chinese or Italian. But most tourists who travel to Turkiye for sightseeing, immediately they realize food is something else - their next trip to Turkiye becomes all about food exploring. Italians take charter planes to Istanbul all the time. They are not bragging about their food, but eating NON-stop when in Turkiye. Again, I tried almost everything. So many great food I enjoyed such as cod fish and chips in England, best bakeries I enjoyed NOT in France or Italy, but best bakeries are actually in Germany...and explored good cuisine in Italy. Ate gretchka borsch(ukrainian food not russian) vareniki..everything. I love this competitiveness. Saying "we are the best at football" while a Brazilian and a German stand next to her is risky. Best Music: US, Korea for Pop, France for ballads and Germany for EDM But yeah, the German, the French and the American were way too humble compared to the rest. The french girl especially for the food was trying to be nice because talking about great gastronomy while the other were talking about street or cheap food could be seem arrogant
I'm a vegetarian so I can't eat most German dishes since they mostly consist of meat. But I really love how earthy everything tastes, like "Klößchen" or "Sauerkraut/Rotkohl", it's unique to our country imo. There's usually not many spices involved so except for some optimizing you can taste the real flavour of the food. My household uses a lot of herbs tho to enhance the food, we mix Asian with Arab cuisine a lot.

For me it’s a shame that Turkish cuisine is only known for “””” kebab””” and what people around the world call kebab is simply döner for us and it’s just a fast food that we eat when we are out and we need something quick and cheap. All regions of Turkey; the Black Sea, Aegean, Mediterranean, Southeast Anatolia have different types of cuisine some based on mostly pastry, some based on meat, some based on mostly fish and some based on mostly olive oil kinda vegetable dishes. I honestly feel kinda sad when people tell me they love “shawarma” when they learn I’m Turkish. Dude we don’t even call that thing shawarma come on. Also yeah Turkish desserts are a universe itself but it’s also mostly known for sherbet based desserts such as baklava or künefe, however there are hundreds of desserts which are based on milk. I think it’s a shame for us Turks to not to be able to promote our cuisine in a better way.
That American girl did a poor job of representing us. America is number in music, especially Pop and Hip Hop. Electronic music isn't a top genre and recently became popular this decade. She is going by her taste instead of what is popular overall.
When it comes to food I as a German have to say we are not able to compete (talking about actual food from Germany not stuff that was invented in other countries like the Brasilian „upgrade“ that shouldnt count) and when it comes to our language I think German is a beautiful language but I think not the most beautiful like Japanese or Chinese but I have to say one thing the German language is not aggressive just bc some tiktok idiots are trying to speak German in an aggressive way that would make every language sound aggressive
I don't know about beaches and music but there is definitely no country that can compete with Turkish food. Maybe France. Some people put hotdog in their favorite dishes of their country. I laughed a little

POV: you never try Caribbean food, Brazilian food or korean food. All these cuisines are better than Germans overall, even French, which is my taste overrated but still delicious
@@liqiz1755 1. i tried brazilian and korean, 2. yes overall they are definitely better than german food 100% but if you noticed i only really talked about german bread and french pastries, so yeah maybe not third place but still very good bread
Turkish is a very flexible and logical agglutinative language that lets you use any verb in case of another for a poetic meaning, you can switch the word order and use it as a way to emphasize specific words. I learned English, spoke German as a child, am currently learning Chinese(Mandarin) and even though all the languages I researched have their own unique beauty and strengths I would rather use Turkish as my language base if I were to create a language for art. I would then add many loan words. It doesn't have the wordplay English or Chinese has, it doesn't sound cool like many other languages but it is very, very poetic. No language gives me that freedom.
Shoutout to the Jamaican girl, she represents us well. Jamaican patio, is such a vibes language that its harder for me to speak it in formal settings, only when things are relaxed or im speaking to another Jamaican can i do it. ( Or when im amgry)
The brazilian don't defend brazilian music is crazy, unique stayles like brazilian funk, samba, sertanejo, bossa nova and others... so many internacional listeners, singing in a language that just a few countries speak.
André not stepping forward when it comes to brazilian music it's kinda disappointing. I mean, we are SO diverse, there's no way brazilian music isn't one of the best, even though you don't like funk and sertanejo (my case) we do have a lot of different genres (don't even need to bring bossa nova to this conversation). BTW, about the beaches: Brazil is really big, so we have a lot of different type of beaches, the northeast region has literally one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world (Fernando de Noronha), the north has Alter do Chão which is a white sand beach by the river, anyways, is not like a "Rio only" place to visit.
I agree with him , it hasn't been the best for a while now. There's only so much originality in putting funk over international songs. Besides, much of what is commercially available sound the same as every other song in that genre, "Sertanejo universitário" been an example of that
brazil have the best music too!!! MPB literally gave birth to so many classics around the world!!! there's literally a bunch of playlists out there with "best french songs" that are actually mpb songs translated into french 😂 the funk is also really good if you ignore the lyrics lol the beats are one of the best! our old rock scene too, we had Legião Urbana 😭 also, about the food, in northwest and northern brazil there's so many good foods, specially so because in the north we have indigenous food in our daily menu and fruits that you only find it here 😌 also, we're the og açaí (not acai, ok??!) eaters (or drinkers, as we drink it... or eat it like soup - savory and not sweet), and in southern brazil they have chimarrão that is pretty unique (uruguay and argentina also have it), and lots of lots of lots of unique brazilian cuisine y'all should eat at least once 😭 btw brigadeiro is brazilian, nor portuguese, thanks 👍🏽
we also have bossa nova, one of the most used styles for years, it was very famous internationally and famous singers have even sung songs inspired by the style (including more current singers like Billie Eilish)
I have been in many countries, tried different type of food culture. And i can confidently say that Turkey is by far the country with the best food culture in the world.
I really want to know what is so special about their cousine genually . Do you have any dishes recomendations, I mean I think I will still chose the Brazilian food as better but I really want to give a try. And just for curious have you ever come to Brazil? If you have to wich region?
@@ameliacalixtamoreira8254Turkish cuisine has flavors that will appeal to everyone's taste. vegan culture in the Aegean regions, meat culture in the eastern and central Anatolian regions, fish culture in the Black Sea... and more... anyone you ask can tell you dozens of famous dishes from every city in Turkey. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to try them all, but if you have the opportunity, you should definitely try Turkish food, my friend. And a few suggestion: of course kebab (actually there are more varieties than known but I recommend döner kebab and adana kebab) and dolma/sarma, lahmacun, çiğ köfte, pide, mantı, içli köfte... And for dessert: baklava, künefe, katmer, lokum, süt helvası, güllaç...
@@dtmeryem thanks for the tips. I actually fell like Brasil have food to everyones's tastes too, we actually are a really big country in wich region has diferents typical foods .But the way you talk aboit the Turkish food was realy amazing . Definally gonna reaserch about Turkey cousine.
@@ameliacalixtamoreira8254 I am pleased to hear that ♡. Brazil is one of the countries I want to go to, and when you talked about your food, my desire to go there increased even more. I will definitely research your food culture better. Loves from Türkiye
Out of the group of people I have known who have traveled to all of those countries and more, I have been told that Korean food is overall the best. But hey, it's all subjective in the end~ As for language, I would say Korean (because I am Korean) and French. I love listening to music in both languages... it's easiest on the ears imo.
This! Although I think Christina seems really nice and I don’t want to judge her, she probably didn’t think about it in the moment. Soul food was made by FBA(foundational black Americans) by combining Native American, European, and African ingredients, it’s literally an original American dish mostly eaten in the south for centuries. Let’s not forget Gumbo and Jambalaya too and our fried chicken that is copied all around the world. BBQ from Texas as well.
Can you please make them try each other countries food? Like let them try authentic germany, brasil and turkish food please. Germany has a lot of delicious dishes. Would be fun to watch
The 🇫🇷 girl doesn’t seems to know much about its own country. There so much examples for the food and PARDON what about the beaches ??????? France is litteraly everywhere in the globe with a diversity of beaches that might be unmatchable. From the french riviera, Normandy, Corsica to French Polynesia, Martinique, Réunion… please learn a minimum about your country
Sorry french girl you didn't represent us very well. About food only pastries? there are so many culinary specialties one would spend an hour enounciating them. There is a reason "french cuisine" is a thing. The only worthy opponent on this field in my opinion would be Italy, not that the rest of the world doesn't have its delicious meals, but the repertoire of french cuisine is simply so extensive, with so many people who have worked it as an art experimenting new dishes. About beaches, she seems to forget that not only France itself is filled with them, both on the mediterranean and the atlantic coast (overflooded by europeans every summer), but France includes its oversea territories, such as all the carraibean, indian and pacific islands (Tahiti?). Now about music I wouldn't indeed have stepped up, because 'Murica !! love it or hate it, they have been overall the biggest creative force in the world this past century.
I find French and Italian to be over-rated, though that doesn't mean it's bad lol, just over-rated. I will fight people over Australia having the best beaches. No competition.
For once we have a French representative who is a little humble, it changes us (and it changes the way others see us). French cuisine is obviously superb, but it would be arrogant and ignorant not to recognize the culinary qualities of other cultures. East Asian cuisine is extremely varied and delicious, as is Indian cuisine. The cuisines of the Mediterranean region are absolutely divine, whether it is that of North Africa, Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, Spain or Portugal. Brazilian cuisine is not bad, there are some really good emblematic dishes (Feijoada, Bahian cuisine), but for what I experienced when I went there, it lacked diversity. I don't know Jamaican food, but if it's West Indian, it must be interesting. German food is not my cup of tea, but they make very good cakes. American cuisine (from the USA) is a horror, but can we talk about cuisine in their case? The girl from the USA is quite humble and that's good. American music isn't that good. When I went there, we mostly heard country music on the radio and I really don't like it. On the other hand, they are very good at rock, pop and R&B. But the English compete in pop-rock (the Beatles or the Rolling Stones aren't American). But it's true that in electro music, we are better in Europe, especially in France. When it comes to so-called classical music, no one can beat the Germans and Italians. Brazilian bossa-nova jazz and samba are really great and Jamaica is the land of reggae.
@@mfcq4987 "For once we have a French representative who is a little humble, it changes us (and it changes the way others see us)." This whole reputation is BS, you just need to look at this video, everybody is stepping up to stand for their country. The whole "french arrogance" is anglo propaganda living to this day. Once more, about food, I said there are delicious plates everywhere, but the amount of dishes french chefs have created, the humongous amount of regional specialties, put it by volume over the melee. The US have made the most advancements in musical creation in the 20th century, that is not really up to debate; You actually admit it yourself. Being humble is not good, being honest and true is.
French and Japanese are the most beautifully spoken languages. Chinese and Arabic are the most beautifully written languages. Simplified Chinese is the most practical language. Hangul (Korean) is the most efficient alphabet.
As a German, I am 100% sure from all countries present, we have the worst beaches 😂 They are maybe beautiful, but short and climate is not as good as the others
For me ( As a Turkish) Best food : Turkey Best Beach : Brazil Best Music : USA ( But when I feel bad I always listen Turkish music ) Best langauge : Spanish there is no here :(
I like the us music too. But as a Brazilian i have to defend Brazil there are so different good types of music you should listen to bossa nova or samba!
