This is the most helpful video I’ve seen on the Korg Kronos 88 key work station. Thanks so much to the presenter and Korg. I have had this instrument for about a year now along with a Moog One. I love them both and both of their potentials is phenomenal. I’m sad to see Korg’s old flagship go but very glad to have been able to purchase one.

Nice demonstration of the organ. But what would make it much more authentic if you didn’t use the sustain pedal. Remember organs don’t have sustain pedals.

The Kronos is a complex machine and doing a livestream means it’s nearly impossible to not make a mistake. Here are a few I caught. 24:48 while the Kronos cannot achieve 250 notes of polyphony, intelligent voice stealing might give the illusion that it can. I think CX-3 has the highest voice count at 200. 28:30 sometimes only the first two KARMA scenes have different settings with the rest of the scenes mirroring 2. That might be the case here even if you were already on scene 3 to begin with. 29:50 bypassed the filters, overriding the filter units output. 30:13 tweaks filters 😜 34:40 oh man didn’t go over track priority! That’s an important tool that helps the system decide where to steal voices from first. For example you probably don’t want voices stolen from the bass or drum tracks in dance music, or a lead sound during a solo. You would give those tracks high priority. 36:30 I don’t think you meant to insinuate that the Kronos has Wave Sequencing 2.0, but rather that it does regular Wave Sequencing which is similar to WS 2.0.

The one millionthst demo of that unit! What it is able to do. How to program it. And dont forget the mantra of the „Grandpianos different plate-ancle“ Like the black hole, „That even light cannot escape!“ I cannot hear that anymore!!! 😡😡😡 Booooring! Kronos a Pimpalim-Mashine!
