@@SergeiVlassov You can also assign them to the nanokontrol! You don't have to use the "R, M, S" keys for their intended use, you can assign them to anything MIDI programmable in ableton :)

@@AudioHaze Excellent! That site also has some other great wallpaper too, but I think the one you picked is the best I’ve seen so far. Since you’re a Mac user, what did you think of Apple’s announcement on Tuesday? I can’t afford the new Mac Studio, but I’m thinking of a new M2-based Mac Mini when it’s announced later this year (hopefully @ WWDC in June). My 2017 iMac is getting a bit old and I hate the noise of the fan spinning up every time I do anything that might stress it. Have you thought of exploring the very reasonably priced 1010Music Lemondrop?

Thanks man! Yes I definitely plan to. The Launchpad is pretty new, and I want to wait until I'm confident enough to display it properly, but trust me its coming :)

Hm I never knew that! I actually experienced a similar glitch recently that made me stop using it. The knobs started freaking out when I assigned midi controls, not sure why :/ and only a few knobs

@@AudioHaze I have a similar issue with FLStudio and my nK2, but I thought it was because it wasn't exactly designed for FL, so some of the assigns are wonky. Specifically, hitting Link to Controller on the Patcher / Special / One Knob Multi Effects, then twiddling the nK's Knobs to assign them, to use the nK as a multieffects controller, it seems to be like a 3 setting toggle, instead of a smooth scroll, and it doesn't return to the original position, like it's not mapping 1-127, the 1 position jumps to 127, so going to dry signal instead goes to full on effects :/ The faders do work well for playing keyboard Layers, and having them assigned to the mixer volumes of different instruments, but most MIDI keyboards have that built in. My MIDI keyboard only has 2 working knobs and a broken pitch wheel from getting banged up a lot at shows though, so the nK can serve that purpose without replacing the whole board. I really enjoyed your demo example. Sucks the controller is having technical issues now.

Yeah you can assign a number of tracks to a single fader on the nanoKONTROL :) I’m not sure of the limit but I’ve had at least 5 tracks on one fader before. Combine it with the launchpad and yes you can definitely more around the session. The two controllers are a lethal combination

Hi! What parameter of the EQ are you trying to map? You can't actually map the numbered values (Like 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), but you could map the frequency knob in the top left of the EQ Eight. If you're trying to use the EQ as a filter, I would use the Auto Filter though (just map the frequency of the Auto Filter and it'll be magical). Hope that helps :)

@@AudioHaze I was trying to map ep three to pan pots to use as a dj mixer to cut the bass for mixes, nothing will show up in the left hand screen for midi mappings?

@@ibizalifestyle6529 Hm, without seeing your set up it might be kind of hard to diagnose. You may need to go into "Link MIDI" section of Ableton preferences and make sure the nanoKONTROL 2 "Slider/Knob" device is set up for remote and track.
