Korg is like a more workstation but yamaha is only like arranger. U have full editing on korg. Yet yamaha has a good sound quality. It’s up to u if u want a good sounding keyboard (Yamaha) or a arranger workstation (korg)it’s up to your requirement. !!!!
Why Korg in the change of section in the styles, when pressing the following section advances the bass giving the sensation of error? Example: minute 15:51
korg has this problem even with higher models...that fill ins create a jerk...that's not due to any error but the fill in was recorded that way....yamaha intelligently programs bass lines in fill ins in such a way that they sound perfect and smooth....but korg doesn't program, although it can ...
I really want to play the Korg pa700 keyboard and the Korg pa1000 keyboard, but because I'm blind I can't play the keyboard because it uses a touch screen, what can I do? Would korg make a keyboard similar to that and not use a touch screen?
Both arranges are quite nice. That Yamaha saxophone was painful to listen to tbh, I am sure a better preset must exist for the instrument, but overal I think I prefer the Korg presets (at least the ones played in this video).
Have played both the keyboards . Personally feel that korg dominates in everything it's getting new stuffs like kaoos and so. Sound ,Style and technology korg wins for me.
5:08 OMFG IS THAT DREAM DANCE SO AWESOME AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH Also, can you not always play that song when you use that Style?
Most music listeners have wooden ears that bear stepped on, so it makes no difference if it's a Korg or a Yamaha. A virtuoso musician will play on a piece of wood so that everyone will say Wow
Forbidden Oldman You’re probably right but it does matter to the keyboard player and to the other musicians in the band. I’d say that for live playing Korg wins easily, with its touchscreen, its joystick, and everything is more customisable than on the Yamaha so it is more pro.
There is a big differents i have the 770 and nothing is new nince 2003 in yamaha tones are always the same, maybe 200 sounds are new in this keyboard for the rest only the design is changed and has 160mb internal storage
Yamaha is better at ballad type songs...it gives that feel...... If you want that for korg....you have to sit and work hard making it the way you want. Don't know y people are saying Yamaha has good drums..... Really?? Didnt they hear the 4:30 synth beat? Yamaha can't get no where near that depth and power of beats from korg....listening to the dreamdance after that makes it clear.....(also saying because I've used both Yamaha and korg) Both are good in their own ways and it depends on the player.... When you buy a korg, you are in relationship with it. You give it your time, and it'll give you it's best. Simply put, the more time you spend the more you learn to use it well. It has a steep learning curve which you won't get even in tyros or genos If you are dead serious and passionate for music, only then think of Korg else buy Yamaha. But Korg has a way better sound potential than Yamaha. if you’re *ready to dedicate hours* over learning the keyboard, then KORG. Else Yamaha.🙌🏻
They have their own unique strength. And of course, both of them are the excellent arranger. I like the technology of Korg in Kaoss function, midi style converter, and the ability to edit nearly everything for the best possible sound I wish for. And those who love Yamaha can easily start to play with a group of great sounds on board - Piano, Acoustic guitar, Sax, Clarinet are very realistic. Choosing one as a favourite keyboard doesn't mean that the other one is worse :) Enjoy the music!!
Yamaha has a better A.piano. and the drums are more realist. For the rest. Korg is cooler.....dont forget the yamaha is too wide Korg is better looking. But both beat Roland
Korg keeps improving their sounds, but the improvements are always too slow and lagging behind the Yamaha sounds. If you want an arranger WORKSTATION, the better choice is the Korg. A quality keyboard for a reasonable price. The sounds aren't a match for Yamaha, but they are still quality sounds. But if you want the best sounds, the Korg can't win against Yamaha. I have played enough keyboards from both makes. I was listening to the sax in the video just now, without looking if the Yamaha or the Korg was playing. And I -immediately- thought, with total confidence: 'That can only be the Yamaha!', and I was right. The Yamaha distinguishes itself for the pristine sounds. Several of them are even a tough match even for expensive PC sampling libraries, believe it or not. The real weak point in the Yamaha is the stupid sequencer....weak, full of bugs, featureless, VERY old, and just unacceptably poor. Incredibly, they left it even in the Genos. That's the reason why in the end I am forced to choose Korg.
Thanks for explanations! Does Korg allow to export the song you've done into computer as midi. I mean, bass track, drums, piano, all instruments (etc) separatly. The purpose is to use Kontakt bank sound over midi events of your song done by Korg, since Kontakt bank sound is unbeatble
Bro pls play yamaha s77o all musics strings sitara flute all.... Please play ... I subscribed u r channel if u see this comment pls play all instruments in only yamaha s770 pls.. Im david.......
I suppose the correct way to appreciate which is better is to play the SAME voice and style on Korg then Yamaha and see which one gives the better result to the spectators. I know there will be variations on the pattern but at least its a good way of comparing like with like.
Yamaha is the winner again Stylish, professional look, and professional sound quality, more visible buttons to play along than Korg this time looser the design is like Casio's kid's keyboard, even Casio's MZ series arevery professional
I was looking for a good arranger to make backing tracks and the Keyboard Forums all seemed to concur that for this discipline Yamaha was the bees knees. I would welcome advice from the more knowledgeable, keys aren't really my thing I play Pedal Steel.
I've played both of them and liked the korg more because the guitar sounds in the yamaha sound too odd and unreal..Speaker system is also very good on korg..Touch screen takes it more ahead of yamaha. The keys feel really very light on the korg. Kaoss fx too are great for live music and also has much more sounds than the psr 970..
Reply to- Tommy Wolfe’ - I completely “ Agree” with you ‘- ( Korg ‘ far better all round ‘ it has “ Finesse” ( A Very important word ‘ in “ music) also Real sample ‘ sounds ( Hammond organs ‘ drums etc ) -cheers . Ps’ as a work’ station - go for “ Korg” .
Get both and youll be happy. 😀 as a kronos 2 user, i bought a psr s-770 coz i want to have a yamaha soundbanks. The korg sounds i can get it to my kronos. But if i dont have a kronos, i prefer buying a pa4x or pa-1000. So far both sound great also it depends what music you play
