@@TheBridgesYouBurn I saw them in 8 times first was 1998 lol and just saw them in Virginia a month ago they were great but nothing beats the original line up now there missing fields its a new rhythm section and I've seen the original line up 5 times
@@michaelmccune7356 Awesome! It's crazy because growing up, and throughout my 20s, I probably saw every Nu metal band under the sun at the time, even some more obscure bands like The Deadlights, Slaves On Dope, Kittie, Shuvel, Coal Chamber, 7-Dust, Soulfly, all those bands and many more but I didn't see Korn until recently, and it was amazing. it was great because I finally got to see the nu metal band that started it all!
@@TheBridgesYouBurn awesome man glad you got to see them even know feildy was missing I saw it all back then Metallica, slayer,Pantera , deftones, seen iron maiden 10 times lol no joke there really great live take it easy good talk
Look at the bass solo section in this video, and then look up ANY "solo" Fieldy plays... always starts with that stupid gimmick hand on top of the fretboard lame routine and then plays a few slaps... he's always gotten in free as a "musician" in this band. This guy reminds us all of what amateur hour the bass has been in Korn all these years. Nice to actually hear them with someone who really gets down.
@@scotslater He might be "less" good technically, if you want to look at music like that, as a series of rules you have to follow... But Fieldy had so much more groove and style in his playing, even if every note isn't in the exact millimetric timing it's supposed to be in.
@@elnyoutube123 He has a lot of dance moves, and goofy stage antics, I'll give him that... and you know, that one slap thing he does on every song. He's serviceable as "dude playing bass in a band" but he just isn't a good musician.
@@scotslater Like I said, his playing style was a lot more unique and you know it's him as soon as you hear it. He helped create the Korn sound wich is one of the most distinctive sounds in music. I guarantee you this new guy has never done anything revolutionary except sit at home sucking on rocks
@@granthamilton9018 I think KORN is gonna be playing for a long time to come. They don't play the music because they're getting rich... They play it for the love of the music, and the crowds.
Yeah, they are still very good live. I just seen them live a few weeks ago in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I'd say it was a KoRn concert with a little Staind sprinkled on top. Staind were great but Korn came out and absolutely killed it!!
Went last night (Oct 1st) to see the Korn and Staind tour and it KICKED ASS! I'm ashamed to say that it was my very first concert ever and I just turned 40. Can't believe I missed out on all this over the years of not being able to go.

@@ashantiallen5946 that's one that needs the bagpipes right? If so he might never be able to do it again. It looks easy but your lungs need to be in peak condition to play the bagpipes. And sadly Covid can cause permanent lung damage.
I was there for that show and let me tell you korn is amazing live I love you guys so much they are absolutely amazing and I love metal and korn is metal I love you guys
The crazy and thing that sucked is that I was in line waiting to get a couple of beers and a Pepsi for my wife and son and I lol didn't get to see korn at the beginning like the way I wanted to but it was still a bad ass show thank you for the awesome video rock on 🤘🤘🤘
i was there in the pit in the front, that was one hell of a show, it was awesome to see munky on stage, i've read he was out due to covid, thanks for uploading it!!
I was just working this show in dallas. It's so good to see big shows again. I do not get to watch much of the shows I work, so this is very cool. Thanks
@@Nixxie- you for sure have never been to a concert before lol. they had multiple concerts within this tour they are doing. The concert you went to isn’t the same as the other ones saying it was a week ago. Lmao. They’re having concerts all around the country
Did anyone catch video on a guy going up the stage at the end of the concert? It happened right after the band left the stage, Munky came back that’s when my friend went up. It would be awesome if anyone got it on video. We don’t have video of it. 🤘🏼🎶
@@kidmac1514 I know its the bassist from SuicidaI tendencies I was at the Cuyahoga Falls show...Munky had covid too didn't you hear? J.R from Heads band Love And Death filled in for him, he only missed a few shows
@@guitarconcepts8850 I am indeed a life long fan of KoRn. Loved those guys since the early days (1994). Wish I was a fan even before that, but I wasn't from the Bakersfield area so I didn't find out about them until mid to late October of 1994. But still, those guys have been such a huge influence on me in my life. I pretty much learned all there was to know about them. I remember early on hearing in an early interview Munky was saying how you taught both him and Head guitar and that you were the guy to go see for lessons and while I know you probably do not remember me, I ordered a VHS guitar lesson tape from you back in 1998 or so. My buddy Adam and I practiced constantly to that tape. I have to say you are indeed an awesome guitarist. Thanks for not only teaching me and my friend Adam, but for also teaching Head and Munky! Hope you are doing well, Sir. Have a great day. :)

@@TheBridgesYouBurn yeah i guess the 4 ppl i know who've died from Covid and one of my best friends who is very sick right now with it are definitely also "pretending". its absolutely hilarious how brainless some ppl are but i guess it really shouldn't be a surprise considering just how many Americans who also didn't believe in it have died from it..it definitely makes for fantastic tv for the rest of the world so keep up the fantastic work. #BrainWorms!!!!
Not so good setlist. They can do a lot better in terms of song selection. To name a few: black is the soul, thoughtless, can you hear me, got the life.. a bunch.
@@numtoe5861 shitting on the band that made him famous? (I know his drumming was the important part of their style but still) Besides he can't drum like he used to, there's a video of him drumming, and you can see how hard it's for him, now imagine if he had to tour with a band?
