The Korua Shapes Dart snowboard is a directional freeride/powder board that is just as much fun for carving as it is in the powder. Coming in with a classic directional shape, taper, and swallow tail the Dart has all the characteristics you want for a dedicated powder snowboard and is going to offer great float in deeper snow. You'll also find a wide waist width on this snowboard, this adds more surface area for floatation but also helps to eliminate heel/toe drag during more aggressive carving. Overall the Korua Dart has an aggressive feel, and is a snowboard that is comfortable at high speeds. Let me know what you think in the comments, thanks for watching.

Just took mine out for the first time here in Michigan on some perfect groomers. I can’t believe how much fun this thing is to carve on. It just rips!!!! If you can, get one!

In februari i rented a korua cafe racer with the burton step on bindings. Immediately fell in love with the korua cafe racer. Such a fun and fine board wich rides super sweet. Gave me as a intermediate snowboarder a good safe feeling. Definitely buying one this year.

Man I want to try one of these out! I think the setback and shorter stance and width would be awesome for someone like me with size 11s. And being able to size a 156. I have an Endeavour Archetype 160Wide which is a bit tooo much board for me to maneuvre in tight trees (but great everywhere else)

Rode the pencil 64 this winter. This thing goes fast and stable like a rocket and is just a blast when u start carving in it. Got a dart now as well for a more nimble feeling when the groomer are a bit crowded and snow is getting a bit deeper. I just love this brand. The design is so slick 😍 thx for the review 🤟

What size is your dart if u don’t mind me asking? I ride a 169 konvoi Nevado split but I’m thinking of buying dart split 160 for something a little more playful

@@swanzzy depending on your weight and your pref I would recommend you also the 60. since you ride a 69 you could think about the new dart 64 as well ;) it’s quite new ;)

I’m 73kg and 5’10 .. what are you? I’ve had a volkl cashew 162,furberg freeride 160 and went big on the konvoi to 169 like I said..it’s awesome .. when on an open mountain side but when it gets tight in a chute or u make a last minute turn it’s not very quick to move.. I still love it tho..

@@swanzzy I am 90@6,10 and i Ride the 60 so if you want smth quick and nimble with ur weight and size I would maybe prefer the 56 ;) it was often used during reviews and will fit you perfect I would guess ;)

To TJ or anyone out there, favorite surfy volume shifted pos. camber board? Dart, Gremlin, SuperPig, or other? Have a Yes Standard 162cm (daily thrashing), but definitely want to get something fast and surfy narrow the stance a little lay down some deep carves and spray some slush when it warms up! Yew!

What's the best large park board for spinning off of large jumps while still jibbing around and using the whole mountain as my park? I want a camber dominant profile for stability, but rocker or flat towards the tips is fine. I'm 5'6" 125lbs just so you have a size range too! Brands I'm looking at are Burton, Capita, Bataleon, DC, K2, Lobster, and Public

Hi, how would this compare to a rossi sushi, or maybe a better "match" would be the sashimi... they're all going to be good in powder I suppose but would the dart be a significantly better carver? Also for 6ft 170lb, 156 or 160? Maybe whichever depending on preferred turn shape/feel. You were on the 156 right? What are your "stats"? Hope you get a chance to reply and are dealing with the truncated season ok!

I've ridden several Korua boards including the dart. It handles the rough stuff excellently. The flex 7 being virtually all the same throughout its length makes it cut through chunky stuff super well. If you end up riding through tracked out areas on a pow day, it wont be phased. Also end of the day groomers will still be lots of fun since it will cut through to wherever the more solid snow surface is. I was easily able to make low clean pencil carves right through rougher groomers. The dart, the tranny finder, and the pencil are all almost identical in my opinion in this aspect.

Loving all these "pow" shaped boards. A lot of them have a unique and interesting character when ridden in an all mountain setting or surfing side hits and berms. Gets me thinking about more creative lines. The Jones Lone Wolf is similar to your description of the Korua but with a much more directional flex and a softer nose for skimming pow. The short effective edge of that board makes it way more nimble than one would think when looking at the overall length. Really looking forward to the review on that Gentemstick! :D

I have both the Apollo 56 and cafe racer 64. Im a 110 kg guy and for me they work verry well in powder it felt lice i hvae a little propeller back in the tail. Korua models is mostly the same look att the specs. On the goomers the boards are to short for me in hard carv turns even the CR 64 sis to short. Itt will sketch out in lay don euro carvs. The apollo only suports medium carvs befor the tail sketch out. The CF 64 will match a gay at 65-85 kg not more if you now what you doing. I also have a custum Donnek 172, 28 cm waste and super stiff, good for carving fresh groomers but not as surfy as the Korua. My solution for a big guy 100kg + that want a power and carving board is to buy a sandys shapes or order a custum bord from Donnek thay will do exactly what you want. I will order the same shape as the Dart but in 175 cm in length and a stiffer swollow tail so you dont lose the torsional stiffnes in hard carvs. A VSR side cut at 11-12 m. 2 full layer rubber sandwich construction to make it damp. I will keep the CF for tree runs.

The simple pleasures will do better over chunder and variable snow. The dart is even stiffer and more directional , hardly any tail to help you out

152 if you’re using it more as a carver that you’ll take into pow occasionally. 156 as primary pow board. It is stiff and aggressive so the 152 will still have plenty of stability for you and much more maneuverability. 156 will float better

Ryan St. Quite heavy but you don’t feel it riding or popping between the carves. And it’s durable, I had a crash with a skier hitting me from behind and I was pleasantly surprised how little he took off the topsheet.
