I've watched this battle a few times. This battle seems different than most against Pat. G Double seems like he looks up to Parmt and wants his acceptance. Like he's the goofy kid that hangs out with the cool older kids, and gets in trouble with them to not seem like a pussy. It's kind of sad vibe he gives off, lol. It's like Pat took the battle as a dying wish for a sick kid.

No doubts, but at least he got some clout to live on for the rest of his life, feel kinda happy for him. Pat is top tier, and GD did get Pat’s acceptance when he accepted the battle for old times sake, he knew he would make the dude happy.
