+rdepaul34 He definitely gives respect where it's due at points, but the commenting on every bar or sticking his face in the camera sarcastically clapping- I'm not a big fan of. As talented as he is, it's tough to admire a guy that conducts himself like that. He's done it quite a bit in past battles, I'd just like to see him be a bit more professional when it's his opponents turn because if people do that during his rounds he will take it personally and it comes off real hypocritical. That's just my take.

nah. sorry I understand bars. I picked apart Lupe's Tetsuo and Youth top to bottom. Like I said, Gjonaj is GOOD. I'm not even trying to say he sucks. But the key word is in battle rap is the BATTLE portion. The whole point at the end of the day is to get in your opponents head and make him lose your composure. Diz did that. Gjonaj's own body language says it all..."you're so lucky I fucked up". Sorry bro but even your boy knows he lost. And look, I'll fully admit, if Gjonaj and Diz were to go at it on WAX, like on some nas/jay-z type shit, Gjonaj would most likely win! He is a GOOD WRITER, but there's more to a battle then just that. Same damn reason Diz lost to Cassidy

Like I said in my first comment dude, I think Gjonaj has mad pen game. But you gotta look at these things in the full context of a battle. Having good material is only part of it. You have to perform good too and keep your composure. Again, it's a BATTLE. You don't call time on yourself 15 seconds into a round, and you sure as hell don't straight up admit that you fucked up in the middle of your third, that's just as good as saying "yea I lost". But hey, that's just my opinion, I'm really not trying to go back and forth with you about this, this is why I hate the internet. I hope you can kind of understand my point, but if not w/e. Again, I like gjonaj, I just think he needs a little more time to improve

I don't think he would have had a problem either way, although I must say I thoroughly preferred Diz earlier in his career as opposed to recent battles. Gjonaj is awesome! He just isn't Diz. He also dropped out of the Grand Prix and he might have had the chance to see whether he could potentially win against Diz. 3-0 Dizaster. Gjo was decent but the dude had some basic rhymes. People act like jokes aren't valid in battle rap, they are. It's called punking your opponent and belittling them. It's an effective form of humiliation which helps give the performance impact. But I wouldn't expect the dickriders in the comment section to know that. Hopefully they learn someday
