I watched this live on twitch. And I’ve watched the bootleg about a million times. This is an all time kotd battle. One of the best ever

How are people in the comments trashing this performance? Must be new fans, cuz if you been watching battle rap since Spin The Mic/The Pit/GrindTime you'd know how significant this was. The history Dizaster ran The Saurus through a wall with was all replayable material. Even mentioned Conceited being from the east coast & battling in The Pit back in 2006 when no one knew who he was. Hearing all of it and seeing these two from where they were and where they are now, is worth tipping your hat to Diz for reminding us of (...unless you weren't around then).

Thesaurus was more consistent and intriquit with his writing. Stacking multi syllables and making it sound grammatically correct is insane.

Saurus 2-1 was slept on the whole time despite having cleaner, heavier, and better written material. Was basically about to be a 30 if he didn't slip up the end. Diz wasn't completely terrible but his delivery was sloppy writing was long winded without any impact. Idk if it's just my age but Diz gets cornier and cornier everytime I see him

This was a FANTASTIC battle! Some rematches don't live up to the hype, but this one might've been even better than the first one! I SWEAR I wish The Saurus didn't choke at the end, cuz this was on its way to being one of them ones! That said, I had it Diz 2-1, 1st & 3rd. The third was on its way to being debatable until the choke. Damn Pete! GREAT performance from both tho! Diz was MUCH MUCH MUCH better this battle than the Frak battle.

Absolute belter, instant classic. Slept on low key one of the battles of 2020. Thesaurus' 'multifaceted' scheme was vintage and quintessential Saurus, and Diz' angles and writing was actually insanely original and effective for Pete. Hamster wheel/Family pack metaphors are so good. Fucking elite showing

Thesaurus had it in my opinion even with the choke. If he wouldn't have yelled a bunch of times and just finished he would have won for sure. But either way this was a good battle that'll get rewatched for sure.

I can’t hate on Diz he’s one of my favorites he just embodies battle rap. I think if The Sauras gets his last 8-12 bars out then he wins, but you can’t end a battle that close with a choke.
