To anyone interested, here's Hollohan's comments on this battle: "After doing this battle I knew Id never do another stage battle ever again. Its just killed the intensity and it felt so forced to be up there screaming at yet again, another completely fake character thats exactly the same as every other "gangster battler" from ten feet away for a seated crowd you cant even see to vibe with from the lights and a stage full of people who only stand there to be on camera or overcheer for their friend.. Whats the point anymore really. No animosity. No reason, no story. Its just not for me or any battlers who had an over the top agressive style. Id rather just make music as it actually means something to me. Ive lost all love for battle rap at the state its become. For a battle to be consuming and have replay value it needs to have a purpose for being. Battle rap isnt battling anymore, noone loses, the same repetitive shit will always get cheered for, all character concepts are dead. Its two people performing together. Theres definitely entertaining battles that happen on stage but only if they have a back story or etc. To give the lines some direct meaning. Been in the studio this week and decided to do my verse drop series in a diff way so its taking a little while but itll be worth the wait. Appreciate everyones patience."

What happened to Hollohan? This is one of the worst battles I've seen in a while. Rex is usually way better and Hollohan used to at least say at least one thing that is actually funny in his battles. This was hard to watch. Am I the only one not feeling this battle?

It didn't look like either were motivated to battle. Which is hell of disappointing because Hollohan is probably the most aggressive battle rapper that I can think of representing KOTD.

This battle wasn't great but it definitely wasn't terrible. Hollohan had some good punches, and if Rex had kept going, it would have been an okay battle. Rex's rounds were waaaaay too short for me to say he won. He was probably just getting that check. Hollohan could have been better too. I'd say Hollohan 2-1

Some of you guys kill me. How can ppl not give Hollohan his props. Dude spit especially since he hasn't been around for a second. Rex is dope but the gun bars in K.O.T.D. is like a Billy Ray Cyrus Rap song. I've always liked K.O.T.D. because it was more lyrics than guns and murder. This battle is a bit weak compared to others on this card but i personally liked Hollohan's raps and think he kinda had the upper hand there. IMO

Hollo lost when Rex clearly wasn't in his top shit. He has zero presence or flow and his bars are decent at times but they get overshadowed by the low level of entertainment he brings to the battle. Basically he is a dumb down version of Pat Stay without the charisma. However, I'm not sure I can give it to Rex either. As much of a low blow as it might be, you can't come out with a shirt that tight, when you look like you are alergic to vegetables. I know it has nothing to do with the battle it self but shit, is anybody else going to remember anything from this battle besides the dude with the missing bra?
