KOTLC ABILITY TIER LIST! 🔥 Keeper of the Lost Cities Abilities Tier Ranking!

Today I Tier Ranked the KotLC abilities into multitudes of tiers via with my very own tier list template! The tiers consist of GODLY, Powerful, Useful, Meh, Not Useful, and NO! It was super fun sorting these abilities from the Keeper of the Lost Cities series by Shannon Messenger into these categories and I think my final tier list came out great! I think the Frosting is a powerful ability. Think about it, they can stop water users by freezing their attacks. Frosters can also use ice to create objects and tools for certain situations. And finally, the ice crystals can reflect and refract light to a certain extent, which means they can make illusions. Overall Frostering seems like a ‘Powerful’ or ‘Godly’ ability to me.

I agree but then Hydrokinetics can use their ability to unfreeze Froster attacks. And maybe Hydrokinetic can control blood since blood is over 90% water… I think Froster and Hydrokinetics are both Godly abilities. :)

I love conjurer as an ability, and a hydrokinetic might be a good second ability. But I’m not Sophie, I’ll probably just have one ability! 😊 Also being an inflictor is an incredibly rare ability, but if you get it, it would be super useful

(my opinion) Polygot should've been way higher- It's not just knowing and being able to speak all languages. As a more powerful polygot, you can distort you voice as well as mimic other voices. Through polygot you can also speak to animals. This would be incredibly helpful for all sorts of things Mesmer, Froster, Shade and Technopath also should've been higher

Oo this is great, I really like how you ranked them. My favorite ability is probably like pyrokinetic just bc I think it’s cool, and my least favorite ability is probably like descryer just bc I don’t think it’s that useful. Some parts I do disagree with in this video are the rankings of psionipath and shade, I think they should’ve been ranked higher because being able to make forcefields is extremely useful when it comes to battle and you can’t really do much about them unless you’re a shade, also they can cause a bit of damage. Also shade should’ve been ranked higher because it was literally able to like block Ruy’s ability in flashback I think(correct me if I’m wrong) also the way shadow vapor is just used in general is very OP if your powerful like Tam or how Umber was.

Yeah Shades are powerful but the only thing I don’t like is that it’s so confusing how shadow vapor works and how it can be used! But other than that I do like the shade ability! Thanks for the comment hope you have a good rest of your week!

I love pyrokinetics, I honestly think it shouldn’t have been banned and it was awesome that Marella got the ability. But I feel polyglots could’ve been ranked a little higher, it’s not that useful but it is a common ability, and it helped a lot of elves in the Forbidden Cities. I agree that descryers aren’t that helpful, you can’t use it to defend yourself, just sensing other people’s potential. Hydrokinetics are definitely godly, it’s so cool 😄

I do agree that vanisher is the best ability! It's really powerful and useful in all situations!

Yes vanishing is so powerful, it can be useful in so many times and places. In Everblaze when Biana manifested as a Vanisher it was so cool, also Biana is one of my fav characters.

Shade is rlly good because you can do almost anything if you have control over shadowflux.

My favorite ability is shade because it’s the most versatile. They can hide in the shadows like a vanisher, they can read peoples shadowvapor like a descryer, they can talk to people with a shadow voice like telepaths transmit, and they can make things out of shadow flux (not all but still). So yea I think shade is the best ability

Another thing with conjurer, Can I just like summon lava? Like if I know where a volcano is, can I just do that also? Or is there a limit to how stuff you can summon at once, If not I can summon walls of stone? we’re connected to the threads of energy as is all mass, So if I know where someone is can I conjure them into fire? Btw shade is my favorite ability, because it’s a bit of most of the ability’s (Elemental ability’s, vanisher, descryer, the communication part of telepathy)

I know this might seem really weird but at this point, I think I should let it out and who knows, maybe I can share it again for all to see - it's my headcanon that Keeper Of The Lost Cities is set in the same universe as Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul/El Camino, Sons Of Anarchy/Mayans MC, The Shield, House Of Cards (the first five seasons only), Yellowstone/1883, Transformers Prime, Where Eagles Dare, Thunderbolt & Lightfoot, Thief (1981), Runaway Train, The Hunt For Red October, Tales From The Crypt Presents Demon Knight, HBO's Spawn Trilogy, Drive, Chronicle, Bridge Of Spies, Wolfwalkers, Bad Travelling (Love Death & Robots) and Wildwood (Laika). How is Mesmer not in Godly tier its by far the best ability, if you can get past the shielding its unstoppable. In my opinion its the most powerful ability

I think if I were an elf, I would want to be an Empath and a Polyglot. An Empath because I think it'd be really cool to be able to interpret and understand other people's emotions since I'm really interested in psychology. And a Polyglot because I could travel anywhere in the world, and be able to understand every language that is being spoken.

Yeah same, it really helped Sophie buy gelato in Neverseen 😂 It’s really useful even if you can’t defend yourself with it. I would absolutely love to go anywhere and understand and speak all the languages.

In my opinion Mesmer is the most powerful ability because they can control Elves with other sweet abilities and basically have an army lol, but my favorite ability is Empath because HUNKYHAIR IS AN EMPATH NEED I SAY MORE?!?!😂🥹😭
