Kourtney is a first born to her mom, so she's been around long enough to know how good her dad was to her mom.

This just is another example of why you shouldn't suppress your emotions. Kourt for years has always been robotic and now it's coming out and she has to deal with it. It sucks.

I don’t blame Kourtney in feeling the way she does. Her mom cheated on her dad when she was a child. Her mom constantly sides with everyone but her, especially Kim, even when they are the ones in the wrong. Kim and Khloe gang up on her at every chance they get. They constantly do things to rile her up even if it’s to the point of making her cry. They laugh at her and don’t take her seriously. They judge everything she does and drag her down. They ALL slate her behind her back. No wonder she shuts down, or isolates herself. Her family treat her so badly emotionally, her self esteem must be at rock bottom.

Firstly, no two siblings have the same experience so Khloe isn’t even going to remotely understand what Kourtney went through. Secondly, Kourtney is the eldest and remembers her childhood with her father the clearest, she probably went through the most and saw her parents’ marriage fall apart firsthand. Thirdly, Kris diminishing Kourtney’s experience as a child is exactly what is causing these feelings of resentment. Crazy how they can be so quick to dismiss her and act as though she’s being irrational when she’s been harbouring these feelings for so long. They even make fun of her for going to therapy to try and make sense of the childhood trauma she faced. Well you know what, if my family used my father’s name to seek publicity, fame and money after his death, I’d be pretty pissed too.

If clings to "childhood resentments" as in her mum never being around, her dad said in his diary that 9 year old Kourtney was crying for her mum to spend some time with her, her mum broke their family apart by her many affairs, and there r many things going on. Robert said in his dairy that Kris NEVER cared about anything except money, fame, also that she wasn't a very good mum apparently

Kourt's resentment towards her mom shows up in her relantioships.

Kourtney is getting the villain edit this season, interesting. She has legitimate resentment towards Kris. We don't know what Kris had her do when she was running around and cheating. Still, it's time she worked it out in therapy, which she I am sure is doing. And as someone said, Kim and Khloe were quite rude to Kris too.

Oh what a shocker! Kourtney picked her loyal dad's side and somehow she's in the wrong for doing that. The hypocrisy in this family.

Kourtney was her first child and has been around the longest and has spent most time with her dad, just because they're siblings does not mean khloe needs to understand what her OLDER sister faced with their parents...divorces are hard for everyone and even harder when cheating is involved or a second marriage and in this case a death too...in many ways all these things together and her suppressing these emotions for so long has caused her to be angry with kris and that is 100% fair...Kris has never paid much attention to kourtney and clearly doesn't understand her pain

Because she can't forgive her mom. Something you'll never understand Khloe since you're settling for a cheater like your cheating mom.

Kris it's not about the money, some things run deeper.

Kourtney sees past her mom's B.S and she has every right to feel resentful, Kris's affair broke up their home and affected Kourtney's childhood. Instead of treating Kourtney like a ridiculously insane enemy, Kris should own up to her bad choices and the pain that her choices caused Kourtney in order to help her heal and they can move forward. Quit belittling Kourtney's feelings..... I can't believe how they keep ganging up on her 🤮🤮🤮

I think kourtney has a higher conscious than the rest of her family. I admire every kardashian member but kourtney seems to be the realest one.

In this Kris reminds me of my mom. My mom had an affair and was OBLIVIOUS to the damage it caused me and absolutely refused to apologize. She doesn’t get that despite the fact that there are wonderful childhood memories, that’s exactly what made the betrayal worse. Kris is clearly the same oblivious and just has no clue to the real negative impact. It’s like seeing your mom as this wonderful person and as a child realizing it was a fraud. It’s horrible and extremely traumatic and turns your world upside down.

I feel for Kourtney. Completely forgot that Kris had an affair. The older you get the better you understand how hurtful it is when someone cheats and chooses another person over their family. It not only makes trusting people harder but it fucks up the balance in your life and it’s not easy to let go of that. However, you can only blame someone for so long before that kind of negativity consumes you. Not only that, but on top of it all her dad has passed away and she will never get the chance to see both of her parents happy, which would’ve been helpful in easing her mind. That’s why the easiest way to cope with her loss as well as what happened to her marriage is by taking it out on Kris because after having been cheated on by Scott, Kourtney can probably relate to her father more than ever. She’s kept her emotions at bay for so long that now when she’s finally coming to terms with shit, everything’s resurfacing all at once. You see your parents as figures that are meant to protect/nurture you and yet they might be the one’s who’ve caused you immense pain. I hope Kris realizes that Kourtney is hurting and is there for her regardless of the things Kourtney may say to try and take a jab at her or push her away.

Why don’t acknowledge what Kris did-cheating- was wrong and caused the divorce and a lot pain, particularly to Kourtney and her deceased father? It’s weird that it’s glossed over. All they care about is material things.

Kourtney is the only one who haven't fully accept her mom being a narcissist living in their own imagination how things were. The rest by now accepted it so they can get a bit of that true love she gives only to herself. She doesn't love me for me, but she will for loving her. They say kpurtney is bratty and she is but you gotta admire that she's the only one who resisted Kris charisma and remembers Kris for who she really was. Even Kendall who runaway from Kris to her dad eventually dissconnected herself from the reality for the promises of acceptaion from Kris. Kourtney lives a delusional life but her memory when it comes who her mother is in tact, maybe Robb remembers but he's too weak to emotionally resent her fully

I often say if your clinging to childhood resentment there is a two way reason as to y. And it starts with one of those members not taking accountability for there actions

Khloe needs to understand that 1. Kourtney is the older sibling and we all have different experiences with our parents from the oldest to the youngest. Usually it’s the older sibling growing with the parents 2. Her mom was in the wrong during that specific time period and now fast forwarding to her now having her kids and being in that same age range as her mom ( i think) because she would never think to put her kids through that kind of pain she doesn’t understand why her mom would even think of doing that not just to their father but to the family. As we get older we realize that parents are NOT in any way perfect they are human just like us and they do make mistakes but that does NOT mean that Kourtney does not have a right to feel the way she does.

i understand kourtney, usually the child picks the side of the parent who was most hurt, ie her dad, kris initiated the divorce and cheated. this is something that a lot of divorced kids do to try and protect their parent, i did it with my dad after my mom initiated the divorce. but i don't anymore i've worked through it. i feel kourtney just needs time to work through the hurt

You aren't obligated to forgive someone when they clearly are in the wrong. The mom is super defensive about her cheating and won't accept her faults. It's weird how she bought up something Kourtney did as a teenager in retaliation. Very petty. And Khloe thinks if she takes the "high road" she's an superior human. Which is why she keeps babying all the men in her life so she can be validated.

I definitely understand what Kourt is going through. I'm the oldest and was dotted it on as a child, but I also went through a lot and my parents leaned on me a lot when it came to caring for my three other siblings.

Having issues with your mother because she cheated on your father and led to the breakdown of your childhood is not resentment it's a legitimate reason to not liking your mother. Also Kris slapped kourtney when she was a child - this was documented in Robert Kardashians journals

I get kourtney 100%! My father cheated on my mother god knows how many times and Eventually split as my mother had enough. I was 14 and I straight away took my mums side. I seen how much my dad had hurt my mum he didn’t just cheat on her he cheated on our family. 12 years later and I still can’t stand the man. I’ll never trust him. He’s left me with trust issues with men. Parents are a massive part of their child’s development and that shit impacted me more than I imagine.

I am the eldest out of four siblings and I know for a fact that I have seen things happen with my parents relationship that I would never tell my younger siblings about just to save them the hurt and not ruin the light they see my parents in. But some of the things that I’ve seen Kim say about her dad that indicate that he was a great dad: when Kim got into makeup as a teenager her dad got her and her sister into makeup classes because he said something along the lines ”if my girls are gonna wear makeup they better be looking good”. He also made them write them letters to their future selves before the beginning of year or school year. Some of you might’ve seen Kim, Kourtney’s video clips on their birthdays recorded by their dad. Seems like he was a pretty hands on dad.

My mum abandoned me and my sister once when I was 3 months old and then when I was 2 and a half yo, I would have given anything to have a mother like Kris and I mean a loving mother. People can say whatever about her but that woman loves her children and takes a lot from them.
