I just now found this on the KRAFTWER facebook group. Hella FUN video! Back around 1982, I met some BoomBox kids playing what I thought was Trans Europa Express. They told me it was Babaataa. Planet Rock. I'm like: "KooL! That's a KRAFTWERK song. Good MIX.". [From Germany to New York, Detroit, Chicago, L.A.] They thought I was crazy. I bet they heard Trans Europa Express or Numbers and other actual KRAFTWERK songs later on and realized: "Hey, that crazy white lady was right.". HA!! :D !!
Back in the day my homie had his own home made music box don't know if ppl remember when some people if u could afford build ur own music box & it would shake ur house down loud as hell & he was playing numbers & planet rock mix best dame mix I ever heard real talk 🎧🔊🔊
Not bad Shan, not bad at all. Very good remix. The poppin could have been better. But I like the chopped up sampling you did. Been in love with this track since the first listen in '81 and nothing compares and never will. This is the year 7000 music and when the earth spins in 7001 this will still be ahead of that time too. You did it justice B.. Sav from Bklyn, NY
I found this band when I was in high school. Still a teenager in a small town in Texas. I loved it and all the other pioneers of this alternative music., The acid came soon afterwards and thus began my journey. It's been very tiring. I'm 51 and if death came for me tomorrow I'd be relieved.
