The Puncher Knight in .177 from Kral Arms... I've been looking forward to reviewing this semi-bullpup air rifle and I'm NOT disappointed! GREAT value for money and extremely accurate for an unregulated air rifle.
This in-depth review of Kral's "3 in 1" PCP air rifle is lengthy, but well worth it. Part 1 is all about design and build, Part 2 concerns accuracy and performance. Time stamps / chapters below for those that want to skip sections.
If this Puncher Knight is as accurate as the .25 Hi-Cap, I'll be a very happy man, watch and find out!

I got on of these on sale for 425ish in the synthetic and the rail and barrel were so out of line i couldn't get it in scope. Took it apart and realigned it, tweaked the trigger and now i love it. Keep up the good work.

I've checked a few krals with that sort of top rail and found some with similar issues. Seems the rail can deform / warp in the pouring process. Need to look out for that as it can throw the scope out of line by a mile. That said, when you get a good one, they shoot well

Its crap the acrcy is shit OK when on bench but when you walk aroung the p.o.i changes a lot so yea not a good rifle

Re your comments on UK airgunners deserving "respect" from Kral in publishing performance figures- as you pointed out at the start, they export to 90 countries and the chances are, each country will have slightly differing laws on power outputs, rendering fulfilling your wish somewhat impractical! I see your point, but .......not going to happen. Great review though, I've only just started watching your channel and am impressed. No a**e licking or dumbing things down; good stuff.

Hi @richardnisbet6505, from all the conversations I've had with RFDs that know the company well and by that I mean the family that own the company, I believe there may be some hope of a change. But it is down to the importers Range Right to push the point and I don't think they will because by all accounts they're struggling to deal with with they've got let alone take on more. Hi I have owned my kral knight in .22 for 3 yr when I got it there was a test paper in the box with the shot count and power output and pellet used ,they use jsb 15.89 perhaps they don’t include these now,I oiled the stock regularly and it does take some in ,the first 2 weeks of owning it I stored it in the spare room and it must have over pressured with the sun warming the room as the burst disc had ruptured,being an engineer I repaired this myself which is a substantial strip down including removing several anti tamper plugs which are lead and brass other than that very accurate and usable rifle although a little weighty as you said

Hi @carlmorton2556...I only ever fill Kral's to a max of 200bar as those burst seals are tiny! It is a good gun, great value for money when compared to the likes of BSA. All the best and thanks for taking the time to comment. Happy New Year.

Bit of a clean, maybe a few soft scotchbright pull throughs before a soft cloth clean, and leaded in with it's favourite pellet.. All after a minor power week, and this will be as accurate as you'll ever want it...

Relying on an automatic safety isn't safe handling .....good safety is down to the shooter not the gun

Hello you reviewed both kral arms knight and kral arms jumbo dazzle if you had tje choice to get one of these which would it be?

Hi @alimenhem3348. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. For me, it has to be the Hi-Cap or Dazzle as it's known abroad. It's a lot less bulky, balances well, and feels great in the shoulder. I would prefer a butt stock with less play / movement within it, but it works. Do you fancy doing a very quick comparison between the, Kral Puncher Knight, V The Hatsan Air Max, I'm at a loss at which to buy.

Hi Roy, my instant reaction would be to go for the Kral and that's based on my experience of handling Hatsans. In my opinion Krals are better quality and I've had good experiences with Punchers. Personally, I'd go for a High-Cap. All the best
