If they change Kraven in the upcoming movie from a big game hunter to an anti-hero who fights hunters (because it sells better & is more politically correct), I'm afraid they've changed a lot more.
People don't want to support the guy killing animals for fun, bro. If no-one likes the main character then the movie is not going to succeed. So, yes, the character is likely going to be changed. It's for the best and only basement dwelling virgins will care that much.
Prolly at the end he creates some type of shit to make him stronger than accidentally damn near sells his soul or something gaining immortality cause he’s always been immortal just hasn’t been known as much
@LizardMane I made that comment already...when he fight spidey he always fight hard but soon as he step foot in some else's book he becomes a jobber just like the Rhino, scorpion or the shocker
The original earth 616 Kraven is more powerful than the original earth 616 Cap. The current 616 Cap has been juiced slightly to match what they did with the character in the Ultimates. The Marvel U cap is closer power wise to the Ultimate Cap. So as it stands now, they are very similar power wise. However Cap is and was always a better fighter.
Kraven is one of the most underrated villains. He actually defeated Spiderman by using the gun, buried him alive and took his mentle, proving that he is more efficient than him. And he did, he won. At one point he even became immortal. I am waiting for his appearance in new game and movie
But Marvel hates Spiderman, so him getting beat means nothing. Spiderman would lose a fight to a mean 80 year old drunk homeless man, if it made Spiderman feel awful about how he has to live with the "responsibility" of his great power.
I never knew this character had powers after all they never reference that in the fox animated show wish was my introduction to Spider-Man and it used to bugle my mind how this character with no powers could physically take on Spider-Man hand to hand so easily the way he did, but it turns out he actually does from what I read in the comics and from what I learned his actually more like Deathstroke and Vandal Savage than Captain America.
I don’t get why companies wanna spin things we are simple creatures take the comics and turn it into live action that’s all we ask for save your modified version for yourself we don’t care for it
I feel like they should have written his movie version to be just a badass man with no powers but his main theme is setting all kinds of elaborate traps and jungle themed weapons and use some kind of potion or herb...possibly the same heart shaped herb that t'challa and killmonger has that would physically enhance him to fight on par with spiderman during the final faze of their fight.
That is absolutely true, in the 1994 Spider-Man animated series, this is exactly how he got his powers. It does vary between iterations of the character though.
@robertljazz2796 it's not so much a case of him holding back, spidermans strength goes off the charts when he fights, more so if he's getting beaten,,, but he rarely gets taken there .
It looked like he basically had the same powers of Vixen but didn't need a talisman. He was changing to the animal skill set he needed for the situation. Please let me know if I'm totally off my rocker
I’m going to guess that the reason why the lion’s blood changes him is because the lion isn’t actually a lion. It’s maybe a shaman in lion form or some mystical lion/avatar that he was hunting.
Clearly it's obvious alot of people in the comments haven't done their research. Cap was the peak of human abilities for the lack of a better term at the time. Verbatim,Cap technically has the calculated strength of 100 men, master tactician, martial prowess in various degrees etc. The Cap in the Marvel film Avengers was literally a nerfed version of the real Cap in the comics. Everyone should just look at Caps feats of strength, prowess special moments where he did the impossible and you will see Kraven couldn't hold a candle next to Cap.
Never forget that Spider-Man RAN from Kraven the Hunter during the original Sinister Six storyline. He got the info he needed and got out of there, leaving Kraven feeling cheated out of his fight.
4:53 "earth's best hunter"? Excuse me? Wolverine, Sabertooth, Romulus, and the Wendigo would like a word with you about that. 6:04 don't forget about the changes made to his backstory in the 1994 Spider-Man animated series - in that, he was exposed to a serum that was meant to cure all disease as well as increase strength, speed, and stamina. The serum had a side effect though, of slowly, permanently turning Kraven into a beast, as the serums original creator had done to himself by using the same serum.
Seems like his story in marvel went off the rails. The movie looks good although why they didn’t get a different actor to play him is beyond me. He already played quick silver.
Marvel needs to get the next Wolverine stuff started. Imagine the opening of a new Wolverine vs Predator movie, a black screen before it starts says "Adjacent universe to 616" or something from the comic books about another universe, and introduce a recasted wolverine. In a story, in a movie, we ALL WANNA SEE. No ones gonna be complaining about whoever replaces Hugh Jackman if we get a new one introduced in a PREDATOR face off.
I love that marvel & Sony are pushing the villain origin story films. Like all the great superhero films they’re only as great as their villain. Darth Vader, The Joker, Thanos, Kilmonger
If he’s slightly stronger than captain America he should still be no match for Spider-Man as Spider-Man is several times stronger than cap like at LEAST 15-20 times stronger. Lol
I think since calipso is in the movie he sees his destiny is to kill spider-man when we see him surrounded by spiders so i think at some point calipso will give him a potion
I could be wrong but didn't craven kill spiderman at one point and chose to become spiderman to see if he could and ended up killing all of Spiderman's villains. Or was that someone else?
I mean Captain America defeated Rhino in a comic. His "peak human strength" doesn't do him justice. In technicality Kraven is physically stronger than Captain America, but he isn't that much stronger. Cap would possibly defeat him because of his skill.
In one of the older Spider-Man games he can boost himself up with animal powers too. I think it was the Spider-Man 3 movie tie in game. I definitely remember a Kraven boss fight in the sewers and he cloaks himself in some type of animal spirit thing.
@@DOODOOBUTT_ so that explains why when i skipped the cutseen today kraven was running in circles around me at superspeed as if he smoked a bunch of meth with a yellow aura around him
