The concept reveled in the trailer seems like it could make a great film and even a franchise but for two things A) the animal powers and B) the tie to superheroes. Why not simply make this a rugged man hunting the criminals his father creates? It could have been a modern day Conan, mixed with John Wick.

@@Troupe_Master Drinking a potion gave him the speed, strength, and prolonged life, but you don't have to make him that in the film. Give him 'super speed sprint', 'super strength, but not like Superman, just more like a very strong Hercules. Instead, focus on his tracking ability--you know, like a hunter--and 'bursts' of super strength and speed--that way he 'seems' 'normal' and people can see him as more vulnerable.

and as quicksilver, he had sort of an accent. at the beginning at least. i mean british actors pull off american accents all the time. it's not a big ask to use the appropriate accent for kraven, but oh well.

@@vinsanity40k maybe Sony didn't have this as a hard requirement for the Kraven role 🤷‍♀️. It's probably best to not expect a really accurate interpretation. Sony has a history for slightly changing characters for their movies.

The Movie might prove me wrong, but, i feel like this is how ifs gonna go, Kraven grows up to knowing his mom has passed. And at the same time has a father to grow up to and to hunt with. Him, his brother, and his father go hunting, not knowing that a lion had attacked him. Blood of the lion crawls through inside him, after his father and brother left him. After waking up he realizes that he has these powers, through out the movie he has live in the city with these types of powers. After a while people try to track him down to lock him up, but after realizing that his father left him to die, he wants to chase after him to kill/hunt him on his own. On his journey he meets people who might know where his father is at. Until he stumbles upon a guy who is known to be the Rhino, as for the rhino is working with his brother “The Chameleon” to go against him, knowing that he has these powers of a lion. During battle Kraven, the Rhino, and Chameleon, As Chameleon reveals to Kraven who he was. In the sky the purple cracks appear. And all 3 of the Villains get stuck into cracks. As for the events of NWH. As Kraven is in the purple cracks. He looks around everywhere, and that is when we actually get to see live-action villains on the big screen, where is we see “The Black Cat” played by (Anya Taylor Joy) we see many others like TASM Rhino, Venom, Sam Raimi Mysterio, Lizard, Kingpin, Vulture, Tombstone, Prowler, Mister Negative, Morbius, Hammerhead, The Scorpion, The Spot, Kaine, We see other live-action spider-man variants. And its a whole 5 minutes of Kraven inside of the purple reality cracks, until strange closes it, and sends everyone back. To keep in mind that the villains showed will be live-action and will be a lot of easter eggs and villians spotted. but in the end Kraven and the villians forget who peter parker/ Spiderman is, and forget abt what happend, so as they continue to battle, his brother the chameleon, ends up dying, his father is killed by his bare hands, and he returns to the forest to hide from the city, ending off the movie with that.

Just one example is the Spectacular Spiderman animated series, disney cancelled It when they bought marvel because they didn’t want to share profits with Sony and they thought they could make something better, now we’re stuck with the crappy modern Spiderman shows they’re making. That’s just one of MANY example, dealing with disney is like dealing with someone who’s constantly trying to steal your wallet.

Venom was based on the comic "Venom: Lethal Protector", and kraven has some appearances were he is an antihero like when he took spiderman's place in "Kraven's Last Hunt". Sony makes this movies with spiderman villains that either have appeared as antiheros or are reedemable, like morbius.

@@jamesmeechan6983 If it doesn't literally say "Marvel Studios" at the beginning, it's not the MCU. Sony has their own continuity, and it only overlapped in No Way Home because that movie dealt with the multiverse. It's the same reason why Raimi or Webb's spiderman movies aren't really part of the MCU except in the way that any adaptation of these properties is technically part of the multiverse, that the MCU has chosen to explore.

I didn't even know very much about this villian myself before I watched the trailer and I really like the trailer. After doing research a little bit, I read that the comics, cartoon, and the movie change each time when it comes to how he gets his powers. The comics say potions he makes and i believe the cartoon and movie was animal blood. Also yes, in the comics he is a russian and a russian accent. But it is the movies and they do things differently to make the movie in their eyes pop more and be more dramatic. Example of someone wanting a movie to be just like lets say the book, comic, video game, etc. The unfortunate answer is the movie will never be exactly like those more in detail items. Like a Stephen King book, if you made a movie exactly like the book with all the details the movie would like 6-8 hours long lol. Some folks would watch a movie that long but others wouldn't. Plus money involved and time etc for the film makers just wouldn't be good. I loved the reaction and all the others you do :). Cheers :).

Another comic book movie we don't need. Just Sony churning out movies to make the most out of the IP. Stop making villains into heroes just so you can make a movie within the Spider-man IP. This will just be another Morbius.

The guy playing Kraven needs to put on another 20 - 30 lbs of mass and muscle to properly resemble the Kraven from the comics. He just looks to lean. He ascent also does not sound Russian. Russell Crow actually sounds more like the way Kraven should sound.
