The kringle mat, also sometimes called Cringle mat is an attractive rope mat that you can make.
It looks quite intricate and it is fairly easy to make.
It can be made into a coaster or even a door mat, or just slide it under hot dishes to preserve your table.
The diameter of the cord/rope and the number of passes you make with the cord/rope, will determine the size of the mat.
