The tragic true ending to this scenario that would be the 'best worst ending' would be that you go passively not attacking, and then in the last moment, you choose attack, but aim at yourself. They weren't scared you were going to hurt someone else, they were scared you were going to hurt yourself. That's how I would've made this anyway for a definitive 'real ending' be that you ultimately stop whatever it is that's controlling you by killing yourself. Bit dark though, huh?

Theory: Kris was slowly going insane after everything because he can’t choose who he wants to be and hit a breaking point where he now gives up and now his self conscious is murdering all of his/her friends because he/her self conscious thinks they are the cause unwary of the “PLAYER” and when they have done complete genocide they will be free from this game and get to choose their own choices without nobody else saying otherwise cause everyone would be dead and dead bodies can’t say otherwise.

Let me just point out a few things that would probably be different if this was in the official game: 1. Because that is not the Dark World, all of the UI should look like the Undertale one, including battles. 2. It's Kris, not Chris.
