The very first second I laid my eyes on this fan, I was beyond excited! High end 4" fans in this format don't really exist in Indonesia, 99% of them are ultra cheap brushed motor units with blades thinner than pop cans, so when I saw this fan with its Mainstays style blades, I immediately called an employee to test it out. I jiggled the fan to check whether it has a brushed or brushless motor, and I'm happy to report that the motor is in fact brushless! Performance is also very impressive! This is perhaps the strongest 4" metal USB fan I've ever felt.
Unfortunately, this fan is sold in Ace Hardware, and to no one's surprise, they gave this fan a shot on its leg by way of a 100.000 Rupiah price tag. In a sea of 25.000 4" USB fans, I'm not sure if this expensive cruise ship will ever take off.....in terms of sales. If this fan had a 50.000 price tag, I would've brought one home & gave it a stellar review, but I can't. That's just how it is with Ace Hardware apparently, but one exception I'm willing to make is their 48" & 56" industrial ceiling fans, which is still one of the best deals out there.
