I have to admit; Casio has really stepped their game up. I can't wait to see what in store future wise. I have his CD @ home and the album is incredible even tho he uses Nord keyboards on that project. I'm really impressed with Casio.
etpslick100 Agreed, they totally stepped up their game. The only thing I find lacking here with PX5S is the rotary speaker emu. It's really not good :( Everything else is pretty darn great, definitely au pair with the others (Kurzweil, Nord, Kawai primarily). And this is coming from a Kurzweil PC3K8 owner. I absolutely adore the price-performance ratio of this board - and ESPECIALLY the triple sensor graded hammer action, along with packing it all in mere 11 kg! That's an amazing feat. Oh, one more thing missing. More pedal inputs! Having three pedal inputs for switch pedals is a must (sustain, sostenuto, una corda). And having one more for a volume/wah pedal wouldn't go amiss. I might've been spoiled with my Kurzweil here, which has 5 pedal inputs total (3 switch, 2 continuous - so I can control BOTH volume AND wah at the same time, or whateve other parameter really). :)
The drums, bass, guitar and solo trumpet are actually recordings of his band. They are being played back directly from USB pen drive and Kristian is playing along with Piano, Rhodes, Organ, Brass & Pad sounds on the PX-5S. He's a fantastic musician, composer and performer :)
