This is a track I've been playing quite often lately :) - I like the tension buildup in the middle, really emotional.
@KristofferLislegaard
@KristofferLislegaard 3 месяца назад
Thank you! If you compare it to the studio version this has more og the tension and buildup. That is a very interesting aspect of transforming this music in the live format. Anyways, Thanks for listening! Looking forward to releasing the new album!

Thank you so much! It was such an inspiring enviroment to play in. Still surprised they allowed us to use a fog machine in there, haha! I think some of your music would fit very well in these settings as well!
@JosuaKarlson
@JosuaKarlson Год назад
@@KristofferLislegaard The fog machine really gave the place that extra magical touch 🎚️✨. It’s big complicated to me that you think some of my stuff would suit that place as well🙏. I should look more into interesting places like that…

Hehe it is not this time! There is a mac mini in the setup running Ableton live and Max. Here the Organelle i sampling the choir-sound via line in port and granulazing it with Snowgrains granular part ☺

Nice!

Now THAT is a lovely and unique location for such event! I'm glad you had the chance to record this, having spent a major part of my childhood and early teenage years in libraries myself back then (I used to be a HUGE bookworm), I really dig this! Awesome opportunity, glad you could make this happen!
@KristofferLislegaard
@KristofferLislegaard Год назад
Thank you so much for that thoughtful comment! It was really inspiring to play in this room as I often spend time in quite smale rooms, but the music is so big so I feel like it fits in these epic locations! Also I didn't even think about the fact that it would resonate because people have found memories of libraries themself! That is awesome!
@redmakermusic
@redmakermusic Год назад
@@KristofferLislegaard Oh, well *I* sure do have a lot of those memories. Luckily, my city even has a dedicated, seperated library for kids / teens, so it really always was a safe space for me - to meet friends, to find story to get lost in, to gather information, you name it. Still up until this day, I'm good friends with all the librarians! A couple of them actually just live a few streets away, so we often run into each other when I go shopping and such - we always have a little chat, really charming people! I think maybe this is why this resonates especially with me here, you really hit a spot for me. :D
@KristofferLislegaard
@KristofferLislegaard Год назад
@@redmakermusic That is so cool to hear! I feel like libraries might be going thru a transformation as well. They can be SUCH an important place in a city because it is one of the few places you can hang out and do stuff without having to buy stuff. Really important, especially for young people as you are mentioning.

Greetings Kristoffer. I'm here because of your "Big Problem Ambient Synth RU-vid" video. This is really epic and inspirational. Where is Oslo and what library is that? I could google it but I'm not going to because that will defeat the chance to exchange pleasantries. Glad I found your videos. This one has great production. well done! I need to get my ass in gear and start creating more. I appreciate this. Cheers from Milwaukee, WI. USA - Dale
