Juice the Lemons, strain the seeds out, pour into ice cube trays. Fresh lemon juice any time! Great for when your sick, cools hot tea down and adds the helpful lemon juice!

You can put chia seeds in muffin mixes, yogurt, applesauce, can make chia seed pudding if you can handle the consistency, in oatmeal, smoothies, allllll kinds of stuff.

You can zest your lemons and freeze the zest in a baggie. Then if you aren't going to use your lemons in time you can just cut them in half and freeze. Then thaw in the microwave whenever you need lemon juice. Better than the bottled stuff I think. If you do grocery pick up its very easy to go through your order when you get home and do an online return. Look up chia pudding. It’s a great breakfast when you top it with some fresh fruit. So easy. They can be a bit of an acquired taste mostly bc of the texture. They expand like orbees- not that big but if it seems like you didn’t use enough, just wait til they expand.
So weird, cause I just bought chia seeds yesterday for the first time & I made chia pudding in the fridge. It’s not as good as I’d hoped… texture is a bit weird for me… but I’m going to add the remaining chia seeds to smoothies & my homemade granola. Let me know if you find any good recipes with chia!
Love your channel so much! For the Chia seeds, you have all the ingredients for Chia seed pudding! Chia, seeds, almond milk, vanilla, and strawberries. Definitely look up a recipe online for pudding because there’s different measurements based on how thin or thick you like it. It comes out kind of like the texture of tapioca pudding.

You can put chia seeds in literally anything. Energy bars, pasta, meatballs, bread, max and cheese, toast w butter, grits, chicken salad, bliss balls, meatloaf, chicken marinade, etc. They are so small they are almost undetectable and have no taste.

Next time you buy a pineapple pull the top off and turn it on its “head” leave it on the counter for 2-3 days it will be the juiciest pineapple you will have. All your juices are on the bottom of the pineapple you’ll see the juice start working it’s way up. Your pineapple will have a beautiful yellow color to it!!
If you like broccoli slaw and buy the bags of it, you can shred the stalk and make your own broccoli slaw instead of throwing the stalk away... or add the shredded stalk to your regular cabbage slaw...
The Simple Truth chicken is the only kind I buy these days. We were a Tyson family before but the quality has changed in the last couple of years. The chicken was always oddly chewy no matter how I prepared it. Also, I would pay for a pound and a half but always ended up having to cut weird parts off before I could cook it. We have been buying the simple truth for almost a year now and I never have the same issues I did with Tyson.
Helpful video as we are coming over the pond to the FL for vacation next week... food is so much more expensive than the last time I was in the US! With the Pink Stuff do a patch test on whatever you want to clean first... my friend learnt the hard way when she managed to take the gloss finish off her kitchen cabinet! (Another example of things being more expensive as it costs under $2 a large tub for us here in the UK).
Not sure if you have Aldi stores in Kentucky, but we do here in Pennsylvania. They carry a copy cat Olive Garden dressing for .89 each and it tastes exactly the same as the branded one. Hope that helps!
Cottage cheese varies so much from one brand to another, I really don't think any two are exactly alike. My favorite is the Kemp's brand, it's just so much tastier to me and the texture is really rich and creamy which I like. Everyone has their own personal favorite I think.
Aldi has what is called “the red bag” chicken patties. It’s considered a cult favorite. Another RU-vid person recommended them… they are SO good!!! Not sure if you have an Aldi near you, but I recommend them.
For the syrups, I like to use them with 7up or ginger ale. I usually get cherry lime flavor and mix with 7up, lime wedges, and maraschino cherries - like a shirley temple or cherry limeade. I know that defeats the purpose of not drinking soda, though. The coconut would probably be good with sparkling water.
hey Kristin! loved the vid! one of the things that I use my lemons for is making lemon water. it is a great detox and has been suggested to drink 10 oz of lemon water even before drinking regular water when you wake up! but you just use the juice of 1/2 of a lemon in 10 oz of water. I like mine room temp, but that is a personal preference! thanks for sharing! xoxo

I love having baking things in the pantry it’s such a fun and easy kid activity to just say we’re making cookies/bread. Hoping the Buffalo honey chicken makes it into a video! Some of those deals were so good, I might have to start going to Kroger more.

@@KristinStepp I love to squeeze some lemon on my steamed broccoli too. And anytime I bake/roast a whole chicken, I put a whole lemon inside the cavity. Gives the chicken such a great flavor!
The grocery stores where I live never have cashiers it’s always self scan unfortunately but also I don’t have to worry about being charged twice or for items I didn’t have in my cart

I am really picky about beef...so I go over to my daughters and get beef from her freezer, she bought one from my nephew!! Lol. He raises and sells beef.
I feel you with the quality of meats. I’m in Australia and I actually prefer to get meat from a butcher shop instead of our grocery stores. I don’t know what it is but the meat just looks better and our butcher will dice our meat for us since I hate handling chicken. Do you have a butcher near you that you can try out?
I usually go through the self checkout aisle, just so I can scan my own stuff so if I so make a mistake it's my own fault. Lol. I also do live like 30 miles away from our Walmart, so I'd be up sh** creek without a paddle if anything would happen like that and I didnt catch it quick enough. UGH

Hey Kristin, did you inow that Walmart has their own brand of the Olive Garden Italian dressing now? It's called Great Value Restaurant Style Italian Dressing and it's $1.97. It actually tastes better than the name brand to me.
Only 2$ for a dozen😁you should see how much eggs cost in California 😐I also prefer the great value cottage cheese 😊it's not only twice as cheap as the name brand it tastes better😅
