This Memorial Day, let us remember why we celebrate it. Remember the service of those brave military men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice defending and protecting our freedoms. God Bless all our military personnel. Past, present, and future.
Instead of bag clips, use rubber bands. They are cheaper, easier to store, never fall off, don't break. You can even use them in the freezer. Even when my kids toss the chip bags back into the pantry, they stay on. Hope that helps!
Hi Kristen, can you share how you cook and serve the spaghetti squash. I love your videos and how you put so much love into lunches for your hubby and children. For 20 years I had to pack lunches for my husband that worked on the railroad and would be gone for 2 to 3 days at a time and he did not want to eat out all the time. I struggled coming up with enough meals for him...and I definitely was not as creative or cheerful as you are when you're making them. lol. Good job mama!
Happy Memorial Day! Great haul. Hopefully we will see "What I Put in My Husband's Lunchbox" video with all the delicious food you plan to make. Have a blessed day.
I FINALLY bought some of the Stok cold brew last night and I made myself an iced coffee this morning & oh my goodness, SO good!! There is no going back now! 😂 Thank you for showing it in so many of your grocery hauls. I would have never known about it if it weren't for you!❤
Hello Kristen, huge grocery haul.cant wait to see what you'll have cooking up for us.Always a pleasure seeing you 😊.have a great day everybody.thank you to all our troops, may God be with you and bless and protect you all 🤗💝
That was a great deal on that piece of pork! Score. I enjoy watching these, it reminds me when I need to add something to my grocery list & different meal ideas.
I keep cans of evaporated milk on hand to use as a substitute in recipes that call for cream. I get the 2% evaporated milk and it’s less fattening than cream and it doesn’t go bad if you don’t end up making the recipes that call for cream. We can’t tell the difference in my house.
I love grocery hauls. There are so many things that we don't do in England that I wish we did. e.g. chobani Yog, coffee creamer in liquid form, etc. Love your videos xx
I use the great value dish washer tabs and they work just as good as name brand. Love them😊 also it’s so easy to make cold brew coffee at home. And a lot cheaper to do it. How I do it is I use a half gallon mason jar Put 1-2 cups coarse ground coffee. Use your favorite brand and flavor. Important to use coarse ground coffee like the kind you grind yourself. Fill the rest of the jar with water. Let soak 12-24 hour. I leave mine up to three days Strain out coffee ground with a fine mesh strainer or a reusable coffee filters Then enjoy like store bought cold brew
Hi Kristen! Our family uses wooden clothes pins instead of bag clips! (The kind with the spring thing in the middle) Maybe it would be worth a try instead of bag clips if yours keep breaking :)
Nope. Can't beat rubber bands to close bags with. They never fall off, easier to store in a drawer and are super cheap. I'll never go back to clips, especially after seeing them on the floor of the pantry.
Lots of good stuff😊. I've been seeing lots of recipes with Nutella for Lattes and hot drinks. Also I love Premier Protein... The newest one here is Root Beer Float
I've got that same Suddenly Salad on my Walmart pick up too. It's the only one I know that don't have peppers. I'm not a pea fan either but I stand there while it's cooking and pick them out while it's cooking. I'm the only one eating it so it don't matter. I also like the Jack's pizzas.
Highly recommend using clothes pins for chip clips!! You can get a pack of 100 for sooo cheap and use them for so many things. I use them for chips and also bags of food in the freezer.
Oh... now that I think about it... my dog will find them(he's figured out how to open drawers) and chew on them. He has his own toys but ...ya know. He doesn't care. 😂
When you picked up the paper plates in the beginning I thought you said “this is 150 pounds” and I was like oh wow 😂 these videos are so satisfying! I just recently discovered your channel and have been binging all your videos the past couple days. And it all started because I bought a lunch box for myself and had no clue what to put it in 😂 keep up the amazing work!
I love all the versions of the Chex mix bars, they are delicious! Nutella is great heated up and drizzled over ice cream or added to shakes I make in the blender. Both uses make it last longer and keeps me from eating it by the spoonful right out of the jar!! 😉 I have used the 4 cheese blend slices from Kroger, they are really good on sandwiches.
Nathan’s hotdogs are pricey, but also actually good 😊 We’ve been through more Great Value *nuggets* than I can count, but in making a pickup order one day I was comparing prices and ingredients, and the GV has a good bit of *soy* . So now I buy Banquet nugs, they’re also a little cheaper.
I bought the Debbie cakes at Kroger and I don’t ever remember the red white and blue either I got the brownies and the nutty Buddy ones 😂❤️❤️I’ve had that happen at Kroger too but I found if you go the three lines and go to plus card and scan the barcode it will add all the coupons you clipped
I truly love your videos ❤ awesome grocery haul - id hate to think how much this would of all costed here in New Zealand 🙈 ill be growing alot of our own produce this year, cant wait to have beautiful home grown tomatoes too 🤩🍅
Hey Kristin! How do you cook the fast food french fries? I just found some at my local grocery store but i notice there aren't air fryer instructions. Just curious what your method is on those😊
Kristin, I'm curious, what do the kids do during summer? Do they have to stay home by themselves or do you get off from work? We dont have summer holidays as such in Kenya so I'm really curious to know how you guys work around that
Great Value brand copycat of A1 sauce it virtually indistinguishable from the brand name and remarkably cheaper. Thanks for sharing these, I love your channel!
I’m not sure if you tried the Old El Paso creamy queso, but I love it. Apparently everyone where I live does because I can never stay in stock 😂. It comes in a squeeze bottle. I’m definitely going to try the Taco Bell one. I’m not a fan of Tostitos queso, and the great value one I tried was too liquid.
Could you please tell me the ratio of the stok and the premier protein? Due to health reasons I am having to drink protein shakes and I absolutely hate them, but I think I would enjoy them more mixed with coffee? TYIA! I love your channel and watch every video you do because you cook a lot like me.
I use a 1 qt mason jar and fill it half way with ice, I pour in the full protein shake and then top it off with the coffee. It’s so good! & thank you so much!!
Kristin, RU-vid has gone overboard with the ads on your channel. They are playing ads every 8 minutes including the two ads we had to watch at the start of this video.
Wish My kiddo could pick out what he wanted in the grocery store granted he's an 8 lb Chihuahua mix so I usually have to guess if he's going like what I got at Walmart thankful he's well behaved in there lol
is this a weekly haul or bi weekly? Seems extremely high for a week,, just curious, no judgement just not one that has a huge budget so it just seems high to me
@@KristinStepp Thanks you for answering, I thought maybe. I want to be do monthly but never can get the nerve up, it is the fear of running out of food before the end of the month,, we have a tight budget so when the budget money is gone it is gone.
General question cause I‘m from germany. Why do americans use paper plates and plastic Utensils at home? It‘s so weird to me. Thaught they were for Partys or on the go
The reason will vary from family to family, but in many families they are used to save water, time, and energy. Depending on the area you live in, water can be very expensive, and washing dishes for large families especially can use a lot of water. many families are structured so that both parents work long hours, 60-80 hour weeks including time spent on childcare. Especially if you dont have a dishwasher, but even if you do, washing dishes for a family of 4 can easily take 2 hours out of the day. Families sometimes choose to minimize their water, time and energy by using single use paper plates/utensils for a meal or two.
Hi Elena. In the summertime, we eat outside more often than not and I do not want to bring glass dishes/cups outside in case someone drops and it breaks, especially kids.
