Immer wenn ich mit Leuten, die mit Eisenbahn nichts am Hut haben, von einem Krokodiltreffen in der Schweiz gesprochen hatte, erntete ich meistens Unverständnis.
Auf dieser 4-Tages-Fahrt sind wir unterwegs mit den Krokodilen 414, 415, Bernina Ab 30 + 34, GE 162. Aufgenommen haben wir auch das rote Krokodil Hge 4/4.
Wegen eines Oberleitungsschadens wird anfangs die Fahrroute geändert. Wir fahren von Landquart, Klosters nach St. Moritz. Dann nach Tirano und Reichenau. Zum Schluss fahren wir ab Göschenen mit dem Normalspur Krokodil.
Da ich vorn und hinten am Film schöne Schweizer Musik hatte, musste ich diese mit Musik aus dem Mediapool neu schneiden, bzw. überlagern.
Ich finde es schade, dass 2011 die letzte dieser Fahrten bei der Rhätischen Bahn stattgefunden hat. In 2017 gab es eine 3-Tages-Rundfahrt, was ich leider jetzt erst lese. In 2018 werden diverse Tagestouren durchgeführt.

Whenever I talked about a crocodile meeting in Switzerland with people who have nothing to do with railroads, I usually got into incomprehension.
On this 4-day-trip we are on the way with the crocodile locomotives 414, 415, Bernina AB 30 + 34, GE 162. We also see the red crocodile Hge 4/4.
Because of a catenary damage the route is initially changed. We drive from Landquart, Klosters to St. Moritz. Then we go to Tirano and Reichenau. Finally we drive from Göschenen with the standard gauge crocodile.
Due to copyright reasons I had to replace the beautiful Swiss music with copyright-free new melodies.
It's a pity that in 2011 the last of these rides took place at the Rhaetian Railway. In 2017 there was a 3-day-round trip. In 2018 various day tours will be conducted.
