if a black light is orbiting a black hole then how can the photons enter your eyes or the telescope looking at it. And the event horizon is the point at which things in orbit around a black hole can no longer escape.
Ever since i first saw Interstellar I couldn't understand something, if they were sent through a wormhole to some unspecified time and place in the universe how are they able to still communicate? It has to be really close to the solar system and has to be around the same time period...
Isn't the Black Hole turning in the wrong direction depending on it's matter disc? Besides, it's missing the Hawking Radiation Jets. And last but not least, shouldn't a black hole that's spinning like that be planetless? Is it even possible to concentrate so much matter around an extremely fast spinning super massive black hole to form planets with such a centrifugal force? And how is it possible for a black hole to emit light? Oo I mean, srsly?
theTrigant not all black holes have a an accretion jet, and it isn't Hawking radiation. A black hole can have orbiting objects just the same as any other massive object, it would generally just be further away apart from one single stabile orbit right outside the event horizon and accretion disk. The black hole also isn't emitting light, as it's impossible for light to escape, however the accretion disk of the black hole is spinning so rapidly, that the friction between particles is emitting the visible light outside of the event horizon.
The planets are very, very far away. We have to remember that in Interstellar, the black hole was gigantic. When on a planet it hardly seemed bigger than our own sun in the sky, which says something about its true distance. Also blackholes with accretion disks don't emit radiation if the disk is only orbiting. It would be deadly if the disk was falling into the black hole, though. This is talked about in the book discussing the science of interstellar.
if the friction of the particles bc of the super massive black hole emit light what does it tell you about the possibility of planets in its orbit? Black Hole "eating" matter, growing from its matter and pulling the other objects in its orbit sooner or later to itself. Ergo, no planets

interesting, personally I've never had any issues with planet packs. this one though is particularly easy to install though as it comes prepackaged with all the mods needed for it (including kopernicus)
Yep. You can raise the base height by adjusting the offset. -200 would make it shallow, but if you want to walk in it, probably -0.2, however that will cause insane texture issues around the coastlines.
well... not the worst implementation I've ever seen. That pulsar should be spinning a ton faster, and those beams should be capable of killing anything it touches instantly. The emissions are supposed to be radioactive enough to sanitize our entire solar system if ever it aligned just right... in theory anyway.

if gargantua was a supermassive black hole i dont think any of those planets would exist. gravity would be pulling too strongly on one side of the planet
Actually probably not. Supermassive black holes from a theoretical standpoint, would be large enough that anything orbiting beyond the accretion disk, wouldn't really be at risk of being torn apart than
