It shows right from the beginning: one full strip and one half strip is required. If you couldn't tell, you use the full strip for the first part, the half strip for the second part.
You HAVE TO figure that out yourself since every body type requires different lengths of strips and depending on how stretchy your strip is/how much you stretch your strip you will need different lengths as well. Hope this helped.
