I swear to God this is the guy who delivers fruit to the chevron gas station where I work at lol, I know him personally he’s a good dude… he always hooks me up with fruit for free without me asking, hopefully God makes a way for him to bounce back and get another van for him to go back to work because we all know he has a family to support!!! Sucks that happened to him 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

This poor guy gets his work van stolen while another guy gets his work truck stolen as well. Both were involved in high speed chases as well. This is so upsetting to have hard-working people making an honest living only to have their livelihoods, means of income, destroyed by these pieces of shitz.

And the craziest part is both were stolen by the same man!! He ruined both businesses in a matter of minutes and I don’t who owned the first car he stole (the little black car). They haven’t interviewed that person yet, at least I don’t think they have

That whole scene was nuts. I wonder how he got the van started? But at the end, the car jacker didn't appear to be too injured. Glad you and your family are doing well and safe. Trusting you can continue with your work. To the family with the white pick up, I hope you also are okay. When your dogs were running around and the little one got under the pickup, I turned my phone away and muted the volume, I was scared to see. So, I was very fearful for your dogs. As for the careless scumbag, I would have said "oh' well" if officers didn't miss a shot towards the end. You are extremely fortunate to live another day.

I read on the live stream that the guy in the white car had got out with a gun and fired at the white truck. If you rewatch when the have him on the ground to the right of the dude there's something in the street that looks like a gun. Makes sense for the way the cops laid him out.

i was watching the pursuit live and the suspect was in a residence lot trying to trash the car he was previously in, he got on foot and out of all cars, the first car that he approaches (white van) it was magically unlocked and he also managed to hotwire it. honestly impressed at the thought process

Why would he be responsible for getting a van fixed? I'm unsure if he left in unlocked first, then if no keys how the hot wire was done, second. Besides all that whatever insurance he has for it a police car was unable to block it in as an excuse to pay out for his cause in "accident claims." I personally couldn't figure how the police driver maintained a trained blocking situation against dangerous carlifting felons. I guess that police department has procedures they need to review so guys like this victim has less vehicle damage from aggressive car theives.

The vehicle was unlocked as during the live footage the guy hopped in. He hot wired it and rammed his way out of the parking space.

The van was definitely hot wired. It was certainly locked, as we’ve had issues with break ins in the area in the past. People here know to lock their cars. I think the guy who stole it is a pro at this kind of thing. He knew the van would be easy to break into of all the other cars in the lot.

Yup! Thats the real injustice here. Had a cargo trailer stolen and recovered. CHP let me know 5 days later. Had to pay for the tow and 5 days storage= 850$ . That stung

🤔 At that point it was unknown if he had a gun. Why would you sit in a car behind a van with a person that's desperate and may have a gun? The van is a bigger threat than the car and as you can see easily moved the car out of the way. The officer did what was correct.

For me, the only redeeming value for this is that he will wake up, with NO MEMORY of all of this. He is still so drunk, he will not remember most of this.
