KTM 890 SMT vibrations update (part 3)

This is a short update for those of you that have been following my previous videos on the bar vibration issue on my KTM 890 SMT 2023. The clamps have defiantly helped, and the softer green elastomers have further helped. BUT... there are still vibes. I am not totally convinced that it is possible to get a set up where the vibrations are completely eradicated, but we will find out I guess.
For sure, the clamps and green elastomers have dampened the vibes down enough that is would be liveable, but I still wonder if internal bar weights will help further.

@@petermorrow4310 a little on the rear preload. And a little on the front rebound. That's it

Hi Dean, if we used a scale from 1 to 100, where 100 is the initial vibration of the stock bike, what score would you assign to this green configuration? I'm asking you because I would like to make this change, but I would like to understand how much it affects in percentage. Thank you!

@@michael07nz sure. I think the best way to explain it, is that it is more of a hum now. And before it was a strong buzz. But keep watching, as I am going to try to add bar weights. So that might help further. Thanks for watching 👀

@@mikeainsworth5840 I had a 2013 GSA, but the over all cost of buying and ownership has put me off the whole brand tbh. That is why I was so excited when the SMT was launched. As soon as I saw it, I wanted a test ride. Once I rode it, I bought one that afternoon...
