Question: Will KTM service people be able to detect that there was a piggyback ECU in operation ? I guess if they see the motor going up to 12k RPM then they might push back on warranty coverage, wouldn't they ? So does Duke 125 2019 record rpm into memory that can be read later by KTM service software ? Please PM me if you prefer, many thanks in advance! I mean I would remove the piggyback ECU if I need to send it to warranty service to an authorized KTM workshop. I just want to know if they would still see that it was in use before ?
Bro It Will Damage Engine??? Or it will cause any Effect To Engine?? Or It Will Reduce The Engine Life??? If we do this in our bike pls reply Eagerly Waiting For Your Reply
The PowerTRONIC is shipped with pretuned maps which are tested and are safe to use. There would be no damage to the engine or associated components due to the PowerTRONIC.
This video would be great if it was more detailed [eg, discussion on how each connector unclips would be helpful for those who've never tried to tackle electronics before], the process slowed down, some advice on some common pitfalls etc. and the music removed... then it'd be awesome.
No it doesn't void the manufacturer's warranty. It's a simple plug and play, piggyback ecu. Just remove the ecu and harness when giving for service. That's it.
PowerTRONIC is a plug and play performance piggyback ECU that optimises fuelling and ignition for better performance and rideability. You can learn more at www.powertronic.racedynamics.com
Yes! We currently only supply the version 3 of the PowerTRONIC which is Quick Shifter compatible and is preloaded with 2 riding maps (Race Map & Race+ Map).
Race Dynamics India Pvt. Ltd. Great, what increase in acceleration or top speed may I expect after the installation and mapping on a duke 390 new model?
@@theurbanhippies5944 Top speed is a bike dependent variable. With the extended rev range, you would see an increase of ~10 kmph over stock while acceleration would improve by ~1 sec.
