What people fail to understand is that "sportsbike" were never meant to be comfortable...they were made with simple intentions in mind :to provide excellent power to weight ratio and to provide superior handling prowess and that sort of things....if u want "comfort" look elsewhere there are bikes called "sports-tourers" like the bajaj pulsar rs 200 and tvs apache rr 310....if u want a ktm and a comfortable bike there's always the dukes...rc series are positioned as a proper "supersports" and not a 'sports-tourer'....if people think that the riding position of the rc's is too dedicated what about the 1000cc litreclass supersports bikes?!....if they are whining about the discomfort that ktm rc has what chaces are there they would ever be able to ride 1000cc supersports bikes like ducati panigale,kawasaki zx10r with extreme dedicated riding position?!....thats fucked up and hilarious

It's been a 3 years with my RC 390 1st slot model but never feels gear box problem. Happy with 390. There's a always plus and minus in every bike. Yaa I agreed it vibrates lot.

When is the new gen RC200 and 390 coming??

Mines a 2015 RC 390 gear box is very smooth and shifts are very crisp.Even my friend's 2014 RC 390s gear box was plesent to ride.Ur RC has some issues maybe worn out clutch plates

390 in this video lacks gud service , problem i faces n my bike s vibration , lack in refinement & braking , heating issue (only in traffic ) except tat its just fabulous , n every drag race between OLD RC 390 & 2017 , Old RC 390 wins n a greater margin & same n case of duke 390 .... I own 2016(slipper clutch variant ) i wonder if 2017 390 Disc can be used in my bike as .. according to me braking is a major problem , bro 320mm disc suits d older 390 ?

RC is a complete track focused bike. It is a well equipped bike. It is very cheap to own a KTM when considering other's and KTMs are well known for their off-road racing capabilities. KTMs are light weight products and that make it easier to manage and also this light weight feature make it agile and fun to ride bike (i love KTM for this nature). And also we can avail its spare parts considerably at lower price. But, it lacks quality, refinement and ride quality. It's the fact. For day to day uses RC doesn't make u happy. For a track, it is good. Duke series is more capable for every day uses. But it also lacks the build quality, have heating issues and lacks refinement also. (KTM fans , don't hate me. Because it is the fact) R3, it's a sports tourer. Yamaha products are well known for their quality and refinement. When coming to the equipment part, R3 is behind the RC. R3 offer more, comfortable riding stance, than RC. We can live with R3 for a long time without giving pain to your wrists, shoulders and back. It has its power on all the rev range and this make it more interesting. Yamaha is the one who give us a proper sports bike than before any one. When comparing to KTM, R3 is little overpriced. But now in 2018 R3 is upgraded with better tyres and it has ABS as standard. And its engine, it's one of the highlights of R3. It is a twin cylinder engine, which never feel stressed and it sounds good. R3 is a good bike for weekend rides (and it looks good to me than RC). YAMAHA is one of the well known name in the MotoGP racing. Yamaha won may races and that is not only because of the Rider's ability but also the bike's potentiality. From RC and R3 If any one needs a fun, agile and much track focused machine. Just go for RC. ( it doesn't break ur bank. And the new model have sorted out some issues of the older model) If someone needs a nice, sweet, and everyday usable bike, then ur bike is R3. (it is little expensive, but the 2018 version justify that price hike over RC)

Haha....u got a particularly poorly made piece i think... The gearbox is pretty easy/smooth on my 3yr old 2015 model .... and neutral is also obscure only 1 in 10 times or so.... Tho the vibrations are there yes ... A lot of vibrations :P
