The only downside for the RR310 is the unrefined engine that is developed by BMW Motorrad. All on all the RR310 is the best package considering its mild touring ability. Thanks Zaran for the comparison 👌🏻
As an Aprilia SR owner, both are very appealing! The RR would be my pick. Even though the KTM is an absolute bullet, I think it is a tad too extreme. The Apache/BMW is a delight. Both bikes are absolutely lovely. Cheers!
Ugly face RC looks more sharper from almost every angle. But RR looks only huge, just see see the tail section, exhaust size, side fairing that looks ugly man even in real life.
Though I love RC, but my height pushed me to get RR 310. And u know it is absolutely amazing. This Apache certainly has that oomph that people simply can't ignore. I am in love with this bike.
I was waiting for this comparison video . Thanks for making my decision easier. I would go for RR310 . As it’s a all rounder package . RC’s power no doubt is great but it’s quite useless in head to head city traffic according to my perspective. And I will be mostly using my bike in city and in weekends will visit the highways so for me RR310 is a great deal☺️
Awesome... But still, isn't the RC better suited for the highways compared to the RR? Also while performing good enough within the city limits.. I don't know man, but I feel RC would suit you better also while being more safer
Please test ride and then choose because you might be proven wrong. I use the new RC 200 in day to day traffic. Its not at all uncomfortable. The old RC was headache to drive but the new one is awesome. Even during long rides the RC is comfortable.
I will go for the KTM for sure if I wanted to buy a sports bike because the Apache just isn't comfortable for me. The new KTM feels easier on my legs. Would I buy a sports bike? No I am happy with my CT100 and Meteor 350 :)
Upcoming RR310 from Bmw will be a good competition in terms of pricing. Even though Apache is better in some ways and costs way less, people gonna buy KTM ! I am of the opinion that after a year or so of ridiing, even the KTM 390 feels slow i.e. until I look at the speedometer.. Trust me, speed and acceleration are just things you get used to with time. And with that growth mindset, the KTM 390 is the more value proposition for your money. Now suggest me a worthy upgrade from my 2019 KTM 390 Duke.
Kawasaki Ninja 650 and CBR 650 is the nearest that would get you what you want . Speed, looks, upgrade, practice for future sports bike. Will give you the big bike feeling . Will Cost less than top super bikes but will be more than the 390.
True brother, what price range are you looking for a bike in? Id say the Ninja400 if you're on a budget, or you have the trident and cb650r on the more expensive side. Wish we had more options at different price ranges🙂
Track choice - Apache because it has "racing" sticker on the side that definitely adds 5bhp reduces the weight by 2 kilos and improves aerodynamics for sure.👍🏽
As a RC390 2018 owner, if I had to choose a 300-400cc now. Rr310 is the best choice. Slightly more power is fun,but in everyday use,it doesn’t matter much. Every RC looks same be it 125,200,390. But RR310 looks unique on road,bigger and way more sexier. Though rear looks is not as good as side and front. The tyre looks way too thin from rear as compared to RC. Despite being same in size. Btw Same bike with BMW tag will be better option.
If RR 310 is updated with auto blipper , quick shifter and cornering abs I would buy it any day even my R15 V4 has quick shifter, cmon TVS update this beautiful machine.
Haha. Was waiting for this video, was thinking it would come after the KTM released. Heart says apache and spec sheets says KTM. Any suggestions for tall riders? Above 6 feet
The KTM is definitely more roomy and has the nicer seat. Its suspension comfort on our roads is nice and absorptive as well, without being springy/under damped. The issue is that the reach forward to the bars is longer than the RR which puts you in a more upright position. If you're okay with the more forward bias, the KTM fits taller riders better.
Honestly, the best choice in this price range is still the discontinued Yamaha YZF r3. I'd rather buy one of em used and put on an ABS on it for safety and it'll outperform all other bikes in the 300-390cc on track and on a strip all while costing much lesser and being much more fine-tuned and reliable
If you compare 310 with the old 390 i would pic the 390 coz of its sharp & evil design philosophy...but now..i would blindly pick 310..i mean look at both of them..the apache looks ravishing & mouth watering 🔥🔥 while the ktm just downgraded!
Is it possible to install 2022 rc 390 TFT display, quickshifter+, MTC in 2021 rc 390 . If yes then I will go for a second owner rc 390 and modify it 🤤.
Being a KTM RC owner for past 20 months I feel that the new design is not what RC means . The rest of the features are great but the looks are not acceptable as the RC used to stand out in the crowd...... Still the old one is the GOAT 🐐 🙌.
In the end it comes to personal opinion, many may say that if you add little extra thousands you can buy RC , then if you add extra money to that you can buy ninja 400.. So buy the bike which you like 👍
Undoubtedly go for ktm .. Don’t care much about looks.. Choose the riding posture & power delivery along with perfect braking .. New ktm will not disappoint you over apache rr
Please compare on road prices from next time onwards...The on road price difference between those two is Rs.70k due to insurance on 350cc plus bikes being costlier than sub 350cc bikes
It certainly does feel like the better choice until you're cruising on highways upward of 110 kmph and feel all those vibes in the tank, handlebar and footpegs..
The RR looks like a mix of a Ducati, a Gixxer and some other Aprilia fronts....that makes a person like me (not speaking for others) disappointed cause it looks cheap and a copy. A good bike though.
It's like a comparison between nano and i20 obviously the I 20 will look better if you keep it side by side with nano just to let you all know what I mean by i20 is rc 390, nano refers to 310 hoho sorry for the apache lover but that is the bitter fact

Better suspension on rc 390 Seats are more comfortable on rc 390, rr 310 has raised handle bars so it's easier on wrists.. so it's a draw there.. Rc 390 is more refined, punchier and has better brakes than rr 310 Rr 310 has better fit and finish of parts compared to rc 390, but on it's own rc 390 isn't that bad.. Service and maintenance is better for ktm, there are very few tvs svcs that work on rr310 and also parts r more expensive
@@ferbinxyz the problem is if there is any physical update on the bike there will be a price hike and Kawasaki wants to maintain the same price range with the sticker updates 😂
